hahaha that ending. very nice game

Developer(+1)

:D Glad you liked it!

Interesting little game. I liked using my own corpses as meat shields against the dogs and the mines and just clearing them out using those. Although not a common issue I reckon, but as a person with misophonia , I really despised the eating sound effect.

Developer

Glad you liked the game!

Unfortunately, there is no time left for a full-fledged menu with mute or its settings. I proceeded from the volume of my headphones and lowered the master sound by 20 dB. It's a pity that it wasn't enough for you.

Loved the ending, really cool game! Could be fun if you could bait the dogs to run on the landmines and kill them that way haha.

Developer(+1)

Initially, there was such an opportunity, but the dogs are so stupid that it became a pity for them :DD

Glad you liked it!

This was the experience of a game jam.

Hilarious and fun, what more can you ask for! I ended up using my dead body as bait for the dog and mines haha

Developer

:DD Glad you like it!

Developer

Wait, I re-read what you wrote, did you drag your dead body across the all level? :DD

Submitted

Yeah haha I sure did

Good art style and good gameplay. I think it's can enters top 10. It's so good.

Pretty neat game, although the AI art look pretty jarring and uncanny...

The mechanics are funny and executed pretty well, and the ragdoll corpses are a nice touch.

The most frustrating part to me was how slow the character moves, even with the movement boost.

Developer

Glad you like it!

Yep, you right, character could be more faster. But the speed is due to the short duration of the game and the small amount of time to balance the gameplay.

Submitted(+1)

In my opinion, it's better to have a shorter game, but that feels good to play.

Although it's pretty reasonable what you say, I think it's kinda sluggish to play, considering it will be played by speedrunners

Still, cool game!

Developer (1 edit)

Yeah maybe but speedrunning is not always about running speed, the main thing is working mechanics and a possible variation I think.  In general, we tried to fill each episode in different ways, as much as possible on a small stage.

By the way, how do you like the ending of the game? Very interesting to hear :D

Submitted

That's fair, maybe I would have committed more on the smaller stages, that when I died going back to the place I was felt pretty frustrating...

Still, the final scene was funny, though I would've loved to have a final stage equipped with jetpack!

This is all kinds of great! I really like how the dead bodies become 'shields', allowing you to set off the mines safely - great bonus game-mechanic. I did find the dogs a bit hard to avoid, but there's so much work/love in this! And then, even an ending! Top work!

Developer

Hey, glad to like it! :D Dead raccoon-brother always help you disarm minefield :D

the mines is took me out off guar

Idea is good, nut I don't want to play cuz of that 〒▽〒

Developer

:( Sorry to hear that. Most of the players had problems with dogs, not mines.

Nevertheless, thanks for the feedback! Maybe give the game a chance a little later :D

The corpses of previous runs remaining on screen is a nice touch.

Developer

Cute! I'm being mauled by dogs and exploded

Cute game! Love the animations & small details like sweat emitting from the Raccoon's head.  Gameplay is very relaxing also due to the music. Personally, I'd prefer it if arrow keys were also supported for movement. As somebody else already mentioned, dog encounters feel difficult because of the limited FOV.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

I dont understand why i not set arrows on control, testers not said this moment, perhaps the majority played on controllers or WASD more familiar to them.

FOV settings set for best view to look raccoon and details around ,  dogs are very predictable indeed :D

Glad you like it!

It's a mad mad racoon world out there. lol great game! Also, I like the use of AI, I imagine this will become more common.

Developer(+1)

Take your friend to minefield and boom boom boom :DDD

Yeah, AI is interesting vector available now in gamedev i think. Any gameplay ideas may appear when you look to many option work AI before find what you need.

Glad you like!

This is a masterpiece. My respects

Developer

Thanks for the compliment, glad you liked it!

Loved the unexpected ending. The weapon arsenal is a bit overkill for raccoons, don't you think? :D

I can only imagine all the possible speedrun tactics that can be done with the ragdolls. It seemed a bit unfair that some dogs spotted me from outside the view, but other than that I didn't have any issues.

Well done.

Developer(+1)

Actually, all the weapons appeared only because I could not quickly find a normally drawn trap in the topdown, and the artist was busy drawing a dog :D Therefore, the old Soviet mine from the textbook gave an impulse towards militarization :DD

Dogs  demanded more attention and time to their AI , so we made it as simple as possible to keep everything in time.

 Glad you liked it!
