This game is really neat. I like the chess/grid take on golf. The aesthetics were very nice, and the game felt neat and polished. The leaderboard style seemed a little out of place, and I feel like it could have been put in the 3d-like ui like the rest of the buttons, but that's fine. Nice game!

I agree with this 100% !!!
The bounce is not very realistic. Now it pretty much just sends the player in the direction between the player and the ball with the same velocity that it approached in. It doesn't use the players angle coming into the bounce. So like you said, it feels kind of weird and wouldn't work for some of the levels I would like to make. Preferably it would work sort of like 8 ball pool by miniclip. I would also like to replace the arrow with a line that shows how it would bounce as well. That would be cool. I wish I had used more of my time on the main mechanic!
