Thanks for playing our game and giving feedback! Stating what to do with the moths is definitely a good idea. You were actually supposed to touch the moths and get them to follow you, so you could keep them safe (otherwise, they head straight for the next lamp). Thanks again for the review, glad you had fun :)

This is great feedback, thanks! Showing progress throughout the game is a good idea, and should be easy to implement. Your playtest is very much appreciated!
As for the text at the beginning, it wasn't an add-on, I just used a RichTextLabel and an animation player. The text effects (shake, bold, italics) used BBCodes, and the background was a shader from GodotShaders.

Nice game! I really liked the puzzle mechanic and levels. The springs were a good idea, and the levels were just the right amount of challenge to be fun, but not overly hard. The one thing I would recommend would be spacing out the buttons. Both W, E, and R were very close together, and it was frustrating when I accidentally hit R instead of W or E. Overall, nice, fun, and pretty complete game! Good job!
Cool game! I really liked the retro themes and atmosphere. The mechanics of planting trees were really cool! The only thing I would would be to enlarge the hitboxes for the wagon and bucket, which would make them a little easier to operate. Also, I do feel like "atmosphere breaking" was a bit of a stretch. Maybe making your items be able to break or something would enhance that?
Regardless; this was a really nice, polished game, especially for eight hours. Good job!

Nice game! I really enjoyed how the dinosaur got bigger, and the camera zoomed out accordingly. The surprise when I discovered my small village was actually HUGE was really fun. The one improvement I can think of right now would be changing the attack animation. The slash looks a little odd, and something else, such as a bite animation, would enhance the dino theme.
Overall, a nice, cozy game for eight hours! Good job!
Nice game! I really liked the falling platforms; the way they toppled apart was both surprising and exciting. Adding enemies would have been really cool, partially if they could offset platforms too (or make traversing these falling platforms harder). They would also give something for the cheese gun to do. The music and graphics were fun, and fit with the retro vibe. Nice job!
Hurrah!! I did it!
Nice game. The concept was clever, and the loop was quite enjoyable. It would have been cool to be able to toggle between springs and speedups, but again, maybe that was part of the challenge. Being able to delete objects, or get an erase/bomb to destroy parts, would be helpful, so I don't have to restart if I do something wrong. The sound effects and graphics were pretty nice, and the title page was hilarious. Good job!

Really cool music and graphics! The game was most definitely broken; the chaos was quite fun to experience. However, I couldn't figure out quite what I was supposed to do, or where I was supposed to go. A pointer as to where to go, or a little more direction, would make the game more enjoyable. Overall, a nice, funny little broken game that made me laugh. Good job!
Very fun game! I enjoyed the humor and voice lines, as well as the concept. The different mechanics for each animal were quite nice.
There was a glitch in fullscreen where there was gray on the edges--might want to adjust that, or switch the Stretch mode to "Keep".
Very nice idea that there are always multiple boats, as it added a lot more strategy.
I never managed to get a boat's health to 0. It would be cool if the health was lower, so I could actually destroy the boats and stop the rides from getting completed, but oh well.
Pretty good game! I really liked the aesthetics and atmosphere. The grappling was very fun, and the wall jumps/air jumps were solid. The one thing I didn't like was that jump and grapple were the same button. There were multiple times when I wanted to walljump or air jump, and would accidentally grapple, particularly on the last grapple on the second to last stage. Very enjoyable, and a solid entry!
Very nice game!
(+) audio and music was very nice. The game had a smooth, polished feel to it that was very enjoyable.
(+) the different butterfly species were incredibly cool!
(-) stopping and hitting (Q) any time I wanted to get a butterfly was a tad annoying. It would make things easier if I could left click to swing, or if hitting walk partway through a swing wouldn't interrupt it.
I've never enjoyed snake so much!
INTRODUCTION
When I first saw this game, I literally thought you meant "deep" as in emotional. I was intrigued by the prospect of an emotional snake game! Turns out, the game had nothing to do with sad snakes, but despite this, I am not disappointed in the least by this game.
AESTHETICS
- really good images! The snake's big eyes are a nice addition, and the different colored voids are cool. I particularly like the idea of being able to descend further into the deep as you get more apples. There isn't any music, nor does there need to be (though I suppose some spacey music could work, I think it is good as is). The audio *pops* and whatnot fit well with the visual style.
IDEA
- GREAT idea! I have seen a lot of "Snake in 3D" games, but they have all been super boring and difficult. This retains classic snake movement, adding a unique 3D element to it that makes snake fun all over again! It is quite difficult--I would probably add health/hearts to make it a little more forgiving.
CONTROLS
- The controls stuck to the classic snake game, while not being super difficult for the game. I can't think of a better way to control it!
ENJOYMENT
- I had a lot of fun playing this game! If I had more time, I would've gotten further into the deep. You could make an entire game out of this, allowing the snake to go to different worlds/dimensions, and the gameplay would remain fun, long as you continued adding elements.
SUMMARY
- Great game! Definitely the most original one I've seen so far. Hope you score high!

No problem! Here's a screen recording:

It's the weirdest error I've had this jam!

I like the Power-scaling system, particularly the different stats. The level/graphics looked pretty decent as well. A few things I would recommend:
- the enemies are very hard to dodge. It would be nice if I had a dodge/roll that I could use with ctrl or RMB to get out of their way. Simply reducing the amount of enemies would also be good.
- I don't know if this was an Unreal Engine thing or what, but the game made my fans go VRRRRRRRRRR. If it is because of the game, I would recommend finding some way to CPU optimize.
I applaud your courage for using UE! I tried it once, and got overwhelmed within 10 minutes. I couldn't even figure out how to detect when a collider entered an area/detect zone. Anyone who uses UE for a game jam deserves a round of applause 👏

This was the kind of game I immediately thought of when I saw the theme, "Built to Scale". It feels good to know that I wasn't alone.
The gameplay was simple, but fun. I liked the piggy-bank model. It fits well with the theme of scale, too. There is a glitch where Piet doesn't always eat the crystals, going over them without collecting them. I would definitely recommend fixing that if you get a chance. Also, the zoom could have been changed--one click on my wheel sent it to almost twice its size. Finally, it would be cool to see even larger crystals that I could eat/have a clear objective for the game. Fix these, and Piet could be even more fun!
Nice thumbnail, btw :)

Really nice atmosphere! Very relaxing :)
The water droplets do invert their "F" label when they turn around, but other than that, I couldn't find any bugs.
I could definitely see it being a good Arcade/minigame thing!

I saw the title "Hamster Pizza Delivery" with a subtitle warning of psychological horror content, and was immediately hooked. And I actually liked it!
The fun hamster atmosphere provides a really neat contrast to the spooky bridge/maze around the homes, giving good breaks between the suspense. The models were quite good, and the hamster sprites were funny. I really liked how your light detector got slowly glitchier and glitchier--I was terrified that it would run out on the boss battle at the end! (I really liked the boss battle, too!)
The one improvement I would recommend would be to improve the theme relation. The game had little to do with the theme, other than the fact that you--and everyone else--was a hamster. I suppose the bridges could also have used a little more variety (walking in a straight line got tiring after a bit), but it was good for a game jam.
Overall, this was a pretty good submission!
