Really appreciate your comment, I’m glad you got to the ending reference as I don’t think many did. Thanks for playing! :D

I do get that honestly, I planned for it to have multiple types of enemies that require different things to defeat them and ways to move the round man ahead or slow him down, but honestly time constraints only allowed me to make what is in the game currently, especially as a solo dev. Thanks for the feedback still! Thanks for playing.

What a well made game! Really impressed, especially with the creative tasks for every job, I did like that. Having to managa a kitchen that wants to set itself on fire was fun aswell.

I would say the game needs to be a bit more forgiving, maybe make tasks quicker to do or like some others mentioned have all the dishes be cleanable in one go, as I found myself just finishing the last order, trying to put out the fires and fix the sink, got to wash 2 dishes and it was already the next day! I do get the intention that is being aimed at with this game and I do like it, but I feel like the things mentioned just now take away from the actual fun.

I'm not sure if this is a bug aswell, but my movement gets locked everytime I pick up an ingredient, which just slowed down the pace of the game in a unfavourable way, making the "GAME FEEL" feel more sluggish.

This is still a really well made game especially for a game jam, well done!

Here is mine, have a go! https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-13/rate/3348076

I’m glad. Thanks for playing!

Really well made game the mechanics and movement are very well done. I am really impressed at how clean the main menu is aswell! The gameplay and enemies are very nice and challenging. Only thing I'd say is I wish there was more health regen or atleast you go back to full health at the end of a floor, as the difficulty curve just shoots up. Other than that, well done!

Really creative concept, haven't played something like this before. Love that you have to actually figure out what to do, which is quite enjoyable. Well done.

Aye thanks man, appreciate it :D

Thanks a lot man! Really appreciate your comment.

thank you so much for playing, yeah I do agree the progression can improve

Aww, that makes me really happy to hear. I’m really glad you enjoyed it. I do definitely agree the sprites in the game aren’t the best 😂 Thanks so much for playing!

Really creative, really innovative. I really loved the text in each level giving you a bit of a message aswell, thoroughly enjoyed the puzzles.

There were some iffy things when it came to the moving platforms and responsiveness of the controls, but this is a game jam entry so thats understandable. Well done!

I did add a hotfix that skips the tutorial if you die and retry. I did hope for the game to be sort of geometry dash esque where you'd have to restart from the beginning if you failed. Thanks for the feedback either way!

The intro had me laughing for some time 🤣

Really interesting game concept, the gameplay is very enjoyable. The leaderboard is a very good idea aswell, got me coming back to try and get higher on there >:)

Amazing effort!

This is such an interesting game, its like those run and gun games but you are literally the gun haha

I really enjoyed playing this, the bouncing bullets were a nice idea aswell as that helped differentiate it from this classic game type. I found myself having defeated all the enemies dying to my own bullets :D

Really nice game!

Very cute, very adorable. The little trouble making doggo ruining the office :) Loved this.

Very cool concept, love the graphics. I will say you do get fed a ton of text in the beginning, so maybe a more brief intro would help. Nice one!

Amazing game mechanic, very innovative. I really love the idea aswell.

One thing is that I'd find myself just standing still trying to get the right cards, I think maybe dealing a defined set of cards per level and allowing the player to figure them out would make it more engaging. Well done!

Really well made game very cool mechanics, I just love running into the room and going in guns blazing.

One thing I'd say is I wish there was a way to restore health a bit, maybe if you wacked an enemy with a chair or something, but thats just me.

Amazing submission!

Thanks alot for your comment and feedback :)

I absolutely loved the gameplay, hands down the most enjoyable game yet. If it were to be made a full game, I'd definitely play it. The game mechanic is challenging yet very gratifying when you get it right. Well done!

Haha didn't even know that was possible! Thanks for playing :D

I loved the nice quotes it gives at the end, quite a reflective and calm game.

I would say that if the player  was a bit faster and/or the walking distance was shortened, but other than that I quite liked the game, especially as a solo game dev :)

Got 2 endings so far!

ABSOLUTELY loved this. This really felt like I was playing five nights at freddy's but calm and peaceful with the mechanics of the game. They're very responsive and tactile. I love the slow ramping up as the days past by.

If I were to nitpick I'd say maybe have a bit of an indicator as to where the trouble is, especially if you want to ramp up the difficulty and pace. This is a subjective opinion though, it works without indicators aswell.

Loved the voice acting. Amazing game!

❤️

OMG thanks so much! Would've been done for if you didn't tell me... Updated it now to and disabled compression. Also added a downloadable version just in case :) Really appreciate you.

This game is DEFINITELY a 10/10. This game has to be a winner. Literally the best so far. Nothing to mark it down on. Absolutley amazing effort!

Really innovative game mechanic. Does take a few moments to learn, but it is a really well made mechanic I did enjoy the platforming, although it wasn't clear that you can wall  jump, had to figure that out. The story is obviously  incomplete, however I do appreciate that this is a game jam submission. Amazing effort!

I absolutely adore that little fish. The  way it presses that button omds 😭

Obvious 10/10 on visuals. 10/10 audio. 10/10 enjoyment.

One thing I'd note is that it isn't  too clear how you're supposed to clear some tasks e.g. the PC task, but that might be because I'm a dumb fish.

Amazing game!

I really loved the art and visuals of this game! So good and well drawn.

The story, even if its short, is well written. I laughed at the constantly changed job title 🤣

The gameplay itself might not be the strongest point, as it is simply walking around and avoiding people. I do believe the art and story make up for that a bit though.

This game is a quite nice and quick "oops" story and I loved that. Amazing effort all 3 of you!

AHHHH. Big relief. Thanks alot DevBoy!

Hello guys! Im having a bit of trouble, I submitted my game but then removed the submission and resubmitted it as I wanted to change something. It currently doesnt show on the submissions tab when I go on it, anyone had this issue? or atleast can you see if it is there (the name is "Going For A Walk").

you don't have to play it, I just wanna make sure its there.

Would love if you commented on the game feel, art style, ease of understanding, etc. https://archerthethirld.itch.io/gfaw

Thank you so much!

I really wanted to improve the game, but didn't have any feedback to go off of. So thank you for giving me a brutally honest review! I really appreciate it :)

Games never manage to make me laugh because the humor is so corny, but this game made me WHEEZE ALL THROUGHOUT THE GAME XD. Amazing job!

thanks! :)

thank you! I like him too :)

Wow. This game is a winner! Really well made and the visuals are on point.  The gameplay is fun and addictive, and the upgrade system keeps you reeled in. The game is on point with the theme, and the game feels polished and nice. I could play this for hours. Nice one!
