I started a side quest a while ago, I will end this side quest together with FBQ9, we are trying to raise awareness for Vaquita, the panda of the sea that is in high risk of becoming extinct and need more people to learn about them. If you are willing to help out by including Vaquita in one way or another in your games, the message will go out even more. Learn more about it at the page:

Thank you Chef for hosting the thread.
Hi, I am Mayshing, co-host of FBQ, newbie indiedev + animator who is trying to make my own show of my world, Cante World. I usually try to stream roughly 20 games per FBQ and feature them on my channels. I handle streamers side coordination with the team. Right now my primary focus in FBQ is making sure streamers side have fun and get the highlight they needed, to ensure FBQ success.
----
I have 2 indiegame projects: Cante the Land of Hearts, (customizable visual novel+rpg) Cante Island (farm sim + town building sim)
Really hoping to join this year as dev too with a game test build, but... only time will tell. lol XD
----
My channels: (I will duel stream Twitch/YT)
Twitch, (most interaction): https://www.twitch.tv/mayshing_vtuber
My FBQ dedicated indiegame gaming YT, for as indiedev and feedbacks: https://www.youtube.com/@mayshing_vtuber
My OC related content (some gaming stuff but more on entertainment side, original character specific content): https://www.youtube.com/c/Altabestudio1209
Let's all do what we can and help them to be saved. It's still possible. :D
Kasey, the artist who started the Vaquita week on Twitch just raised over 14K, people are interested, they just need to know about it.
The art is free to use, for my art (the ones with mayshing at the end) you can use it for anything commercial as long as crediting is given. :)
As for the others its best to keep the project non-commercial, as they have specified it can be used freely but not sure if they gave permission to use it commercially. But if you need to contact the artist for more details I can ask for you.
Tried to play with kiddo on local co-op, we did run into issues with the second controller either take over first controller input, or not responsive at all. Co-oping as one person with key board, one person with controller was okay, though I haven't figured out how to get keyboard command going yet. Hope our play record will give meaningful insight to you.
Thank you for staying and visiting my stream on your title.
I enjoy the overall art direction, the quality of this sandbox decoration game, (should list it as sandbox)
very chill and relaxing. the game is adorable.
What I wish:
GUI:
- A way to access the quick hints on the keys needed in order to be reminded.
- Numbers count on the fur balls.
- Info on how to generate fur balls with the quest. Like placing down plants to get fur balls.
- Furballs: Need them to be on screen longer, also need their contrast to be higher than the rest of the town so I can see them and realize they are there. It's a very colorful town, a lot to look at as we go, so need them to be EXTRA shiny for us not to miss it.
Ideas:
- Helping Migrating Kibus move in new homes (like build 3 homes for homeless kibus) would be lovely and feel purposeful.
- Put down roads for Kibus to travel to the pond (every different items and features needed can have it's own to-dos for more goal oriented players, but keep them optional)
- Help Kibus build a bath house?/store?
- More interaction with Kibus. (like petting, it's a cozy game, this feature will boost it)
Wonderful game, keep grinding, you got something lovely here. Keep it up!
Thanks for coming to FeedBackQuest for the first time!
What I loved:
- Overall illustrative quality is very lovely, clean and I like the persona vibe as well on the cover.
- GUI is clean and well done
- Characters are fun, I do enjoy the parody jokes, especially love it when seeing other streamers fall for the Last Fantasy Vii joke. hahaha The ending of the demo is also very funny. I do also enjoy the setup of the character's mission.
What I wish:
I had issue figuring out the puzzle due to the objective not being clearly directive, when it's not clear we had way too many ways to look at the puzzle pieces, its hard to narrow it down for our logic, on whether we should think more towards the chess movement or the letters, and upon trying to figure out with the chat together, the game already moved on, I think it would be important for the players to have the "choice" of continue to struggle or moving on in the design, not have the game decide ok you failed 3-6 times, move forward. Upon revisiting, the hints of the puzzles look more clear, but as fresh, first time players, many might miss what seems obvious and the game might need to do more hints and reminders in order for players to register.
FeedBackQuest will give you a lot of different feedbacks and perspectives, only take ideas and feedback that fits to your need, I would personally rank the feedback from fellow devs higher of importance since they can give specifics, hope this event is helpful to you. :)
his VOD on YT: https://www.youtube.com/@hythrain
I haven't gotten thru all the chapters so you might have to look for a bit. Might be in 17.1 or 17.2 on his VOD

Dev notes:
For FEEDBACK QUEST 8:
I am not looking for bug reports, there are plenty of them currently. I even hesitated participating feedback quest 8 with this early and bad build.
However, I am looking at feedback on what you liked, what you didn't like, what would you add next etc.
Point being, I have several different options as the direction of which way to take this game, and I am hoping peoples feedback to help me decide the direction.
Right now everything in game is by default only temporary (and barely working)

Welcome back to FBQ! Your game really changed a lot!
A group stream going on now for Kritter: https://www.twitch.tv/peardoll
You can check VOD on youtube too:
All the Streamer archives we can find on Youtube has been updated to FeedBackQuest 8 playlist. Now total of 57 videos and more coming. Please make sure you check the entire playlist not to miss important playthroughs. I will try to find the VODs and share them with devs who may have missed it but might not be able to get to everyone.

Your plan sounds good. Yeah scope control is important, get the game done first then polish, art too is one of those things. Keep up the great work! Yeah I was thinking either spine or live2D it has that look. I learned Weapon is a woman late in the demo. lol~ I figured the intent was for her to feel somewhere in the middle, glad to see a woman character like that.
Hi, Mayshing here, co-host of FeedBackQuest. Welcome!
My kiddo and I enjoyed this game, though the frustration of floating off too easily did end our play test a bit quickly.
My wish: The robot has a jetpack that can help itself to float back to orbit if jumped off at wrong angle, gives me a bit of hope I can make it back from my mistake would make this game less frustrating and game loop end too easily.
Overall a fan of this cute delivery bot, hope to see more updates on it! (time: 03:19:12)
