I'm a regular farm sim lover, but not a regular puzzle player, I did get stuck on stage 2, I missed the hint on the pass over until another dev, Fortunastreet helped remind me so I got a few more levels in before I give up.  As someone who is not a regular puzzle player, I would need more ease in on the level difficulty and more constant hints/reminders to make this game less frustrating so I don't just drop it and play something else.

Otherwise, love the look, very cozy looking art and music. You can see my struggles here.

Thank you for playing and for your review! We definitely need to add hint button in the game.

Completed the game for Mayshing since she was not a puzzle mood.
It reminds me a lot the Pr. Layton train puzzles.
One note: when the witch give away a mushroom to a hedgehog, she doesn't seem to lose any of her own mushroom (or at least, she doesn't lose any mushroom icon).

Thank you for playing! It’s a good catch. The UI, indeed, needs to be updated for the witch when she shares a resource with a hedgehog.

Hello congratulation my friend

Your game calmed me down I needed more =)
few notes for you
- For the future make sure you have easier levels in between hard ones, otherwise at some point puzzles will become shores, like The Talos Principles 1.
- few animations would help a lot making this more dynamic ( water, leaves, trees moving etc )
- I would show both characters path in transparency when you click on one to set his path, that way you can plan you movements better and anticipate the other characters movement.
-Keep it up, this is a great little game.

This game is great! The cute graphics drew me in, and the gameplay was fun as well. I loved the puzzles and the variety of forages and witches. I think this would make a great mobile puzzle game.

Hi! Thank you for playing! I had a chance to watch it yesterday in the YouTube recording. It was super helpful. It gives food for thought and confirms my ideas of improving the levels and the process overall.

Very cute game. I liked the relaxing music and overall concept. I wasn’t able to advance very far, though. But that’s not your fault, I just suck at puzzle games in general :)

Really cute game. I played up to the level with the witch and the bridges and wanted to continue later, but saving didn't work in the browser version.

I tested it and saving works fine on the executable version so the issue must have been my browser. I was using Brave.

I think the difficulty is fine for a casual game, it could be even easier if the little path circles had numbers in them but that could look a little messy and people tend to be intimidated by numbers. I know people who won't play Sudoku for this reason.

Finally, feel free to ignore this last paragraph because it's just rambling, but I think the cute hedgehogs will never achieve true sustainability by only taking a single item because they don't check if a member of a different tribe has already foraged from that source. As a result, they can collectively end up being just as destructive as farmers and witches. In conclusion, sustainability in the forest is incompatible with racial hedgehog segregation.

Thank you for playing and for your feedback :) I’m happy that you enjoyed the game.

It’s rather exciting to see how many different intricate aspects people can discover, elaborating on our gentle take on a sustainability topic.

Amazingly Beautiful, nice and soft game. Just would like to ask, how am I supposed to pass through "Bridge" level? The Red Hog needs 1 more step, but BlackAfroamerican one has 2 extra steps. Tried to change routes to make it fit, but in this case they always meet near the bridge.

Developer

Thank you very much for playing!

We definitely need to add a ‘hint’ option to the game. In the “Bridge” level, it is important to choose the correct bank for farming for each hedgehog :)

And the correct hut to rest

lovely vibe this one has .... I feel I have lost something for I cannot go through the very second level lol, all ways have no steps available to return

Developer (1 edit)

Hi! Thank you for playing. There’s a hint at the start of the second level :)))
You don’t need to pass over the resources. You can just pass next to it.
