Starts a little bit confusing, but after a while I had a lot of fun to play the game. Maybe a tutorial will help to avoid frustrating first moments. Art style looks very nice and the exchange mechanism is quite cool.

The gameplay are cool, the way you implemented the exhange theme to the gameplay is really interesting, I like how the control of the two characters works. The bosses are nice, the attack of the second boss looks cool. Also the music and visual are nice too.

Overall, cool game!

omg great picture work The first time I played it was a bit difficult but I had to die 5 times before I started to understand it. I would like to ask, how many years of experience do you have in making pixel art?

Visually impressive game with a very simple auto-ish gameplay that reminds me a lot of bullet-hell style gameplay with inspirations from Ikaruga and other iterations that make you swap polarities to defend against certain attacks. Some thoughts:

- The simple gameplay lends itself to being picked up relatively easily and a very casual sort of gameplay to it. It's very easy to understand and play.

- The visuals alone are so impressive and stylistic that it easily deserves a 5/5. But the sound department could use some help. A lot of effort has been put into the visual presentation including attack telegraphing (the laser attacks and the homing attacks) but the lack of auditory input can make it hard to distinguish what you're looking at and what to react to. Having sound cues for attacks, especially for homing attacks before they're about to be unleashed can help.

- The game is undoubtedly pretty fun though. As mentioned earlier, it reminds me of more traditional bullet-hell gameplay but without the top-down format. Your game design is very smooth and cohesive in that it allows for players to focus on dodging as opposed to attacking. That also means that, when you strip away a lot of the visuals, the gameplay can feel somewhat shallow with no depth. HOWEVER, that does not make it easy! The game is adequately challenging and I find it fun from that perspective instead.

A highly polished, fun game that can be explored in depth further!

At first it was very confusing and the red attacks are sometimes harder to avoid, causing it to have a blue border. I always play with the blue character to attack and I find the arena too short to dodge, I often feel overwhelmed by the number of attacks and the little space, in general incredible visuals and very polished gameplay

Really fun, but I found myself defaulting to the blue character more often. The red character's attack speed felt way too slow , and its damage didn't seem increased enough to be worth the tradeoff of less space to dodge attacks. The purple projectiles were also a bit difficult to tell apart from the background, and the boss healthbar's colors were also difficult to tell apart, but that's just a nitpick.

Absolutely amazing visuals, very passive gameplay.

The camera is very zoomed in for my taste, so I defaulted to finding a safe spot, dodging the small projectiles (which blend in with the environment a bit) and switching when characters when needed.

Very good use of the theme, meaningful and mandatory.

Cool Game with the exchange swap mechanic! (fits the theme immediately) It would be even more fun if we had more movement options for the swapped out character.

MANNNNN I TRIED SO MANY TIMES ON THE THIRD LEVEL

Anyways I love the mechanics a lot! Brilliant game design....artstyle and music  was quite good too

Very cool. The boss design is beautiful, and the gameplay mechanic works well. The player hitbox could be a bit clearer

It took me a second to get a hang of it but once I did it felt good. Nice unique idea, it worked really well for the jam! Great stuff!

As the operator I helped those agents swap and fight the mechanical abominations before them. They died many times, in fact they never defeated the first boss, but they shot and smashed to the best of their abilities. I liked the boss abilities!

The game has really good art. Your take on the theme resulted in a very fun game. Good Job.

Very cute art and really good use of the theme! Thanks for making this!

5 stars, perfect game jam game, cute animations, lots of personality, and a well executed idea that works great.

Also, why are we fighting the lovely dovely couple at the end?

Fun game with a very clever take on the exchange mechanic! Kind of reminds me of Ikaruga. Took me a while to get used to the gameplay, but when I did, it was very satisfying. My only critique is that you can just stand back with Mad when they’re on WASD for the first two bosses, and the game doesn’t really punish you for it.

First of all, I fell in love with the artstyle before even trying the game, amazing job. After trying it, it took me a couple tries to get down the mechanic of swapping characters, because I kept thinking I was gonna go to the other character's location, but you actually swap characters and they exchange locations. Once I got used to it, it was really fun to play, I managed to clear all bosses. Amazing art, fun mechanic, and great music, an all around great experience, congratulations!

A huge fan of the gameplay concept, perfectly fits well with the jam's theme

I feel like it would have been better if you would also exchange your place with the other character whenever you switch, but it's still fun.

A really nice game, a bit confusing at first but once u get hang of it, it ok then. the damage for the bosses was little and the movement felt a little unresponsive because it didn't quite set with the fast flash style art of the game.

Anyways you really nailed the UI, ART & VISUALS

sound was also nice.
