How does your game match the theme?
The game takes place in outer space.

Originally there was planned to be an overall time limit, making the player work "in the space of given time"; currently not part of the jam build but maybe needing to complete levels "in the space of the battery's time" still counts for this.

I love the art direction and different levels having their own palette! The 8 directional sprite and movement are also very nice. Would love to see future iterations and the vision getting realized.

Thank you for playing! I’m happy you like the art and palettes, very happy with how they turned out. Glad to hear of your interest in future versions, still need more time to work on the post-jam version but we hope you’ll give the game another try when it’s done!

I like where you were going with this one! It is very easy now but the core concept is solid. I love the artwork and music too, very nostalgic.

Thank you for playing! I think the completed game might still lean a little towards the easier side, but I would definitely like to tweak the battery values and create some more difficult obstacles in the upcoming update. We hope you may be interested in giving the game another try when it’s complete!

I'll keep an eye out for the update then!

That was interesting! I like the limited movement time idea. The transition areas need better demarcation, but there's a very solid concept here.

The music is a bit quiet compared to the sound effects.

I pulled down the pause screen, and I couldn't get out of it. None of the controls unpaused the game.

Good work! Congratulations on the submission!

Thank you for playing our game! I’m happy that you liked the concept, and thank you for the feedback! The pause screen should close when you press Start again but I know I rushed the implementation a little, so I will take a look at it again when I can. We hope you’ll give the complete version a try when it is finished!

Sadly the current version is quite short, but I enjoyed what I played anyways. I really liked the way menus appear (with this sort of color steps)!

Thank you for playing! I am glad you liked the fade transitions, though it was built into the template we used. Sorry about the short length, but we hope you’ll give the game another shot when we push a longer completed version after the jam!

Graphics and music are excellent, very accurate GameBoy vibes.

The first level was solid, looking forward to seeing updates!

Thank you for giving our game a try! We hope the update will live up to your expectations. Thank you again for the great template as well!

Very nice looking game!  I really liked the music too. The thing that got me hung up was knowing where I was supposed to go.  I think it would help if the hidden "doors" to neighboring screens were marked somehow.  Fun game to play though!

Thank you for playing! The satellites were intended to clue into where you could travel, in addition to being interactable to read from, but we weren’t able to get this complete in time, so I understand it being difficult to figure out. We’ll have fixed in the post-jam build, hopefully you’d be interested in trying it again when it’s complete!

The art-style is really cool and I like the concept. Sure, it's unfinished, but I think this can become a good game, when everything is implemented. I keep an eye on this one.

Thank you! We have planned to do some updates right after the jam
