How does your game fit the theme?
It is a platformer/puzzle game where you control the platform instead of the main character, i.e the platform is the main star here! So we need to help the sleepingwalking worker get home, by transporting him across the level.

Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?

Yes

We created the vast majority of the art during the game jam

Did your team create the vast majority of the music during the 48 hours?

No

We used pre-existing audio

Nice, a Pico 8 game. Controls well and excellent pixel art. I'm a sucker for good pixel art (if my own game didn't give that away)

Funny concept. The fact that is on Pico-8 is impressive. I soft locked the game a few times but we can reset so it's not an issue

Thanks for playing and for your feedback! Yeah Pico-8 programming it's not too easy for certain mechanics and within 48 hours gets a bit worse hehe. But I love pico-8 and this is my first game jam and I'm glad because im learning a lot!!

Cool idea. Hope you make time to improve on it. GG!

We had very similar ideas for the jam, that's funny! Anyways, pico8 games are always super interesting to play. Congratulations on your work!

Cool little game, the art looks great... good luck with the jam :)

Salute to your dedication.

Good game!

Simple and effective, it's a little hard to my taste (character is zoomin'), but you got some solid execution. Good job, keep it up!

Pretty well executed idea, nice to see some pico-8 games
The game has some small phyiscs bugs, sometimes a bit annoying..
But still, The little puzzles were pretty interesting. Fun game :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback! Yeah I will fix these annoying bugs.

really cool idea! The game is a bit buggy but it isn't really gamebreaking  apart from the glitch where he gets pushed through the ceiling.

The idea is good, I advise further development.

Good idea!
To make it easyer to controll you could stop the movement of the character while he is on the moving platform and as soon as you stop moving it he starts walking again.

Also ther is a little bug when you have the platform in that fire underneath the forklift you can go into the floor.

Developer

Thank you!! The character stops in some part of the level as if awake and stops in the platform!

I only noticed him stoping when he ran into a close door thingy...maybe a bug on the Web Gl

Be sure to check out my game too!

The idea is good, but I think it would benefit if the character was at least a bit slower, as I basically had to put it somewhere they couldn't avance and, still, that place would be far from where I wanted the character to go

Really good idea! When judging is over you should polish the game and maybe make the character go the other way when he runs into something because i got him stuck and had to reload the page a couple of times since he simple ran into something and I couldn't do anything.

I really like that the game is playable on browser. The idea is okay but the game was really buggy. I was unable to keep the character on the platform, even when simply moving forward. He kept jumping off.

Also, the controls didn't work very well. If you go forward while going upwards and then you let go one of both directions, the platform continues to follow both. It's not well explained but if you don't understand I can try to explain again.

The art is super cool, I didn't hear any music.

Well done ! It's a good submission !

Thank you for you feedback. Yes I still have some work after the jam period hehe. I tried to bring the concept, but some polishing is really needed.

Quite a neat platformer and nice take on the jam theme. My only feedback is the player could be slightly slower as at some points it was hard to keep up with the player moving. Nice work!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I tried to reduce the speed, but I couldn't do it in time due to the other serious bugs fixing.

Nice to see more PICO-8 games! I like the idea, but the guy gets stuck on stuff pretty easily. One time I also pushed him through the ceiling, whoops :D

Developer

Yeah long live Pico-8! I made an "engine" demo a while ago and the guy was the player. Here in gmtk I had to improvise a lot ! The focus was really on using the gmtk theme and reversing the mechanics was a bit of chaos hehe. Thanks for the comment ;) !
