I really enjoy the mechanic of this game and would love to see more levels. Good job :)

very cool puzzle game. I felt the increase in challenge was just right. Great job!

You should work on a more complete version of this game! :D. The idea is amazing, the tutorial is perfect and the mechanics of changing between 2D and 3D are a nice puzzle. Well done :)

Great idea! Liked the theme and enjoyed to play.

The switching mechanic is really impressive and worked without issues for me. The last stage was really cool, I have no idea how you went about designing the levels it must have been a lot of work.

Great submission!

Wow great job! Lots of fun to play!

I dig it! The concept is super cool and fits the theme so well. I especially like the mechanics with turning the camera while 2d; very cool, and lends itself really well to some fun little puzzley bits.

Game is a bit limited right now, but that's to be expected of a jam game. I found myself staying in 2d pretty much the entire time. I wonder if there could be some way to encourage players to need to make use of both dimensions in order to get all the collectibles.

Overall, I think this just begs to be expanded on. That concept is just too cool. Great work!

Thanks! Having the platforms move differently in 3D and 2D was supposed to be one of the ways to make more use of 3D, but I ran out of time to design the levels so didn't get to implement it more.

Nice concept! Also, it's good to have a tutorial.

Really great concept and some cool level design. Great job!

Really unique concept, the switching of perspectives added a lot to the platforming gameplay, would definitely like to see the mechanic within bigger games

Very clever perspective bending platforming. I was only just starting to get the hang of things and then it was over.

I have to wonder how crazy of a party was had to leave all these boxes floating in the air (and moving around!)

The gameplay is solid, the presentation needs polish but there's only so much which can get done in the time frame of a game jam. :)

Thanks! I enjoyed your game as well

I think the idea itself is great, I've seen some submission with a similar style, but this went a bit further into it in my opinion. Obviously also generating some more difficulty.

I have to be honest the last level I just pressed Q & E to see if I got boxes in front of me that went higher and followed that path. My perception skill wasn't high enough to completely get the path by just zooming out! But nevertheless it was a fun challenge.

Some polishing and work and this could actually be turned into a puzzle game that would for sure great a nice audience to it, instead of just being a "find the item" kind of game. But this has puzzle elements already for sure, but something more than just finding the next platform by switching view would elevate it to the next level in my opinion! :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yes, it would have been good to add more puzzle elements, such as switches to turn on the moving platforms if I had the time.

I thought this idea was very inventive. There have been other submissions similar to this idea. But I've noticed everyone has a slight twist on it. I think your implementation on this idea was really well done. I do think the last level had a lot going on and because of that it was a little difficult to understand what was going on. But still had fun and completed it :)

Developer

Thanks -. I enjoyed your game too

One of my fav so far! Was quite fun when I thought it was just switch from 2d to 3d, but then changing the camera views to see each angle different was great. Great game

Submitted(+1)

Well done, great concept, well executed.

Submitted(+1)

Nice job! I really enjoyed switching back and forth between the dimensions, it felt really smooth. The story is fun too!

Hi, congrats on your game! :) Great game idea. I just think it would be a good addition to perhaps use different colors for the boxes. That way, the player could better understand where he is in the game. Many times, I felt a bit confused about my position in the level

If you have some spare time, please try out my game. It's a classic space shooter from the 80s but with a personal touch. Please leave your honest feedback.
