Great game, but as many others have said, aiming is a pain. I feel the game really shines on the bosses, where aiming isn't as hard since it's a big target. Hitting small enemies quickly becomes annoying. Otherwise, it looks great, sounds great, and fits the theme quite well. Good job!

This game is pretty good, the audio and visuals are very good, but the use of the theme combined with the aiming mechanic makes it not very fun to play in my opinion, I just found the aiming to be more annoying than fun

Love the neon vibe - the music, visuals, and sound effects all come together really well!

I spent most of the game trying to aim rather than weaving through bullets. Just curious - what inspired the aiming mechanic?

I felt like if it was a standard aim I would've been much more interested in playing over and over - it's a great game :D

Hey, Thanks!

It's based on one of the aiming systems in Warning Forever, which is an awesome game, btw.

I think this aiming mechanic introduces a lot of interesting choices, you dance a little differently with it. There's a small bug I'll fix after the voting phase, but I don't think it would flip the overall rejection it had so far hahaha. Oh well, I still like it.

I've been playing the game. I really like it.

The game looks and sound pretty good, I really like the tunes.

Although I'm a bit indifferent to the aiming in the opposite direction system and even to some extent to the shield mechanics (it fits the them though), I really like the stages and their level of difficulty which is even more important, as a result I have a lot of fun playing the game.

Thanks for sharing.

I like it ! Maybe  aiming is a little to hard ( I go to bottom wall to always target up xD) but it is intresting idea! Good job!

the way the limited theme was implemented was super interesting with lots of promise, felt as tho the enemies could have had a bit less health to make up for the difficult aiming, at least for the first few rounds. lovely work tho and love the visuals :))

Aiming feels unintuitive, especially since ammo is tied to health, and lining up your shot while avoiding bullets feels unnecessarily difficult.

Keep up the good work!

I really like the way you implemented the theme, it’s a very interesting mechanic. I feel like the aiming could be tweaked a bit to feel more responsive as sometimes simple movements up/down could cause the cone to jump over what i wanted to aim at and moving away would feel like it took too long to straighten out. Had fun playing though, nice job!

Thanks!
Unfortunately, the submitted version has a small bug in the aiming system. I'll upload a fix after the jam it should be snappier
