It's crazy how just giving an orb a name gives it personality. I'm not sure if the friend names are also randomized, but when I saw Keith I was excited because my father-in-law is named Keith. In my head I was like, "Come on, Keith. Join the team!" Super impressive how early you finished and that you also have it working on mobile. Excellent work. One small issue I had was when I left a room my orb friends wouldn't follow with. Their names were still being sung, but they didn't cross into the room with me. I went back because I couldn't leave my friends behind! Great work.

glad you enjoyed. They name ares selected from a list of 200 common names. My original plan was to make it so the orb name you used for uploaded for another person to find (but servers so)

The following issue needs to be resolved with pathfinding as currently I'm just using a simple move to

Beautiful concept and execution! Despite the randomness factor, it still feels genuine, which is hard to achieve with random level generation.

Developer

thank you for your kind message

still impressed how fast you made this game, overall the game is pretty great! though some of the sounds are a bit too high pitched and as others have pointed out not much of an actual story

had a free weekend followed by a busy couple of week so was a case needs doing asap. Overall happy with the result but not my best.

Very neat. Would be nice if numbers also generated a tone. Cool concept though.

easy enough done by just adding more note, kept it simple for the demo however.

Nice idea, the SFX work very well but there isnt much of a story here. Overall, good job.

Developer

sadly not. I could even get ideas with music mechanics or story but combining them was tough. I decided to focus on a unquie music concept and fingerscrossed it's enough.

Great concept and the music worked pretty well when the orbs joined up together.

Interesting concept.  Love the idea of using the name to generate the tones.  Would liked to have seen the pitches match the key of the backing track, but that's probably just the musician in me talking.  I also love the little tails on the orbs.  It's a small thing, but surprisingly satisfying to watch.  Great job all around!

Developer

thank you. Sadly not a musician on this side. Very curious what you were able to put together.

It's a cool idea, not much of a "story" going on however making a song out of names is super unique and I dig it.

thanks for taking the time to play. It was difficult theme for me, so I got the music concept down first then tried to build a game around it, leading to a game weak on overall weaker gameplay than I would like.

Nice concept

thanks!
