This game looks and sounds beautiful! The controls and jumping feel great. I did find myself avoiding using my baguette weapon because It would just cause me to take damage trying to fight. I just jumped over enemies instead.
Nice job!

The graphics are stunning, and I really enjoyed the lighting. Platforming was alright; I would have liked it if we could jump from below. Attacking also felt a bit lackluster, so I resorted to just dodging and speed running, which was actually pretty fun. I did enjoy just riding on top of the enemies xD

Really good platformer game. The music matches the mood of the game very well. And the visual is very attractive.
The only downside is that it is not always possible to determine whether you can jump on an object, or it belongs to the background.
Otherwise, the game is done perfectly.
By the way, we also thought about something like this at the end of our game, but in the end we settled on a more classic battle with a dragon.

That was an unexpected ending hahaha. The art, music and sounds are great. The combat is not perfect, maybe some kind of feedback when you hit an enemy, and a longer baguette. Really nice game.

Cute game, interesting story and nice graphics, especially the parallax effect was well implemented.

You could maybe add a few checkpoints, some levels can be long and it's a pain to restart from the beginning each time.

Good job!

A very cute game, and some great Mario references, and a nice conclusion. The background is outstanding, I don't know if it's an asset pack or made specifically for this jam, but it's beautiful. I also enjoy the baker's animations, that hat is incredible!

Fantastic graphics! One can rarely find such a quality in game jams - you did a great job. The "sound of death" and some other sounds bring back such nice memories on "Castle of Illusions" - a game I enjoyed playing on my Sega Megadrive back in the days.

Multi layered parallax looks great!
Combat mechanics needs improvements at just all aspects - sound, animation, balance etc. I prefer to avoid combats.

Great platformer. Controls are tight, animations and art are beautiful.

A cute little game with fun animation. The music and art style created a nice, moody ambiance, and the layered parallax backgrounds were especially well done. The golem's design was also excellent.

It was tough to tell what was meant to be a platform and what wasn't. They weren't distinct enough in color/shading compared to the background. It was also hard to tell when you were successfully hitting enemies, so I jumped and cheesed my way out of all but the unavoidable combat scenarios.

Love that I'm playing as a baker fighting knights and whatnot with a baguette! And the animation on the baker is so good! Good job!

As far issues go, I'd say the biggest one is that the combat didn't really feel fun. I pretty much avoided it at all cost unless I had to fight. I think this most likely caused from a lack of feedback when hitting an enemy, oftentimes I'd hit something but wasn't sure if my hit actually registered.

Other than that, fun game :)
