Hi! Do you have experience as a cinematography coordinator?

Thank you! Just DMd you

Awesome, let's talk about your specific role, are you good with discord? You can join our recruitment discord so I can DM you: https://discord.com/invite/RPZeawTxPQ

Just a video example should be enough

Definitely a visual novel, we will see if we add any additional elements from other genres.

Very nice! We are looking for a background artist to help with backgrounds and general 2D art stuff, take a look at this document outlining our pitch https://docs.google.com/document/d/1vB9Rp7kz7RUoKVFUAAw8_-05JUcEiRV64rV61UQVlt0/...

Do you have any samples of shaders you have made?

You stuff looks great! Let's talk, join our recruitment discord so I can DM you: https://discord.com/invite/RPZeawTxPQ

I think you would be a great fit in our team!

By any chance, can you do shaders or animations on python? This new roles just open up.

Hey Matt, are you still looking for a team? If so join our recruitment discord so I can DM you: https://discord.com/invite/RPZeawTxPQ

Wow your art looks so good! We are looking for help with CGs and backgrounds. I've put together this document Murder in the Aethertree forest about the current direction we want for the game we are making.

Are you interested in doing CGs? We could use some help in that front! I'm the lead of the "Murder in the Aethertree fortest" team, want to discuss it in discord? https://discord.gg/3mAvaPdfj
You can see more about our project here: https://itch.io/t/6754788/open-murder-in-the-aethertree-forest-team-looking-for-...

Sounds good, let's talk, join our recruitment discord so I can DM you: https://discord.com/invite/RPZeawTxPQ

Hey Matt, your stuff sounds great, but we are almost surely using renpy, and it seems like there's no simple integration for FMOD. I'll let you know if we can accommodate you.

Can we talk in discord? You can join this server https://discord.gg/RPZeawTxPQ or DM me (crischu1).

Good question, I wouldn't know how to describe it, but I'm looking for a visual arts director who has experience working on the style our current artists have (you can see their portfolios on the post).

Thank you for your comment, we are going for a different artstyle though.

This is our pitch

```
A young paranormal investigator steps into a fall festival surrounded by mystery and spirits while trying to solve a murder. As they look for clues, they find romance, blood magic, and their own death. They should have listened to that prophetic dream with the Tarot cards in it.
In this game, the player will replay a series of events in order to solve the crime, aided by a supernatural notebook that serves as meta-progress, allowing you to explore different paths to unravel the mystery.
 ```

We are looking for the following roles:

  • 2D artists
  • A cinematography coordinator
  • A itch.io page designer
  • Transitions/logic based animation programmer
  • Font designer
  • GLSL shader programmer
  • Trailer maker

Pixel P.I. is a detective game with the novelty of being able to process natural language to interact with text written by the player. One of the main features of the game consists of unlocking statements by asking natural language questions.

The protagonist of the game is Pixel, a hacker detective girl who lost her memories and is going through a list of old cases to hopefully find information about her recent past.

You can play the demo for a limited time at https://crischu.itch.io/pixel-pi

Me too! Hope you enjoyed my take on it.

I wanted everyone to be able to enjoy it but also give a challenge to those who wanted it, so I decided to create different difficulty levels.

I'm glad you liked it! Was it too easy on the hard difficulty?

Regarding the inhale/exhale mechanic, this applies only to some of the breathing techniques, which do something while exhaling and something else while inhaling. For instance the ocean breathing gives attack and attack speed during exhaling and healing and defense during inhaling. Also the volcano breathing blocks your normal attacks and launches all your attacks at once during exhale.

Thank you for the kind comment! I agree about the art-style, I'm always looking for artists to collab with as my games always lack in that department.

Incredible visuals, would you be interested in collaborating with me in a future game jam? My games always lack visually I have to admit.

I hope you enjoyed it! I plan to make it a fully fledged game out of this, which would be much more balanced but also allow you to synergize to become very powerful. I also plan to include different characters and of course more weapons, enemies, items, etc.

Thank you!

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for the feedback. What do you mean you can't choose some stats?

That was fun! Congrats

This game looks amazing, if you are interested in working together let me know!

Cool! It reminded me of inscryption

I'll have to try it on Edge, the code is simple, your velocity vector gets multiplied by 1.03, the only thing that could have gone wrong is that it got applied more than one time. Thank you.

Thanks!

Thank you!
