Fun game! was overwhelmed by the turrets a little, was hard for me at first, but it was definitely cool

Excellent game! Quick to learn, hard to master. I completed all levels ans even beat 10 seconds on level 2 ^^ Very good work! But are other peoplse real scores in the game? Didn't seem so to me?

Thank you!

I didn't have much time to implement online scoreboard, so there are only some predefined scores and yours :(

Submitted(+1)

I suspected that, but if you add it in the future that would be really fun :) The game lends itself to speedrunning - especially if you have separate buttons for the two powers, as others have suggested, so you don't get stuck checking which one is selected and switching ;)

Love the game, have to practice more to beat it

Great game, nice work!

This game is so fun! I'm not very good at it, but I love the graphics and the level design. The controls felt exactly as they should for gliding around on a hoverboard. Great job!

I really like the concept and mechanics of the game.

But the grappling hook as others have said is super hard to use. Also when you have multiple skills all of them map to space so in level 4 (i think) I thought I was dashing, but somehow it used the hook

The art is really nice and the game has potential but it needs some polish here and there

good job!

Well done on the pixel art! (sorta reminds me of the end dimension from minecraft lol) The movement felt pretty good too! Although, the grappling hook is a bit too slow and i wish you can see how much ammo you have on it. It's a bit hard to control too. Also, i found the enemy drones to be too accurate and hard to get past. The sound effects are significantly louder than the music, too, and i dont really see how this fits the theme. But you have a pretty good concept with really good potential, great job!

Developer

Haha, didn't thought about the End, before your comment :D

Yeah, I've messed up with the sounds. The drones are intended to be so accurate. You can see amount of charges of every ability near with its icon in bottom left corner of the screen. Controls are a pain, I agree. I wanted to make movement more inertial to encourage players to keep their momentum (and to make a good use of abilities), but it feels not so good and seems to be too hard to control. Gonna experiment with it after the jam will end.

Fitting the theme is quite a loose. I wanted to add a "shadow player" which will show something like a hint, how to beat the level, or maybe will repeat the last player's try. However, I was out of time at that moment :(

Thank you for your feedback!

There's a lot of potential here, but I found the grapple mechanic super hard to get right, and the enemies are very unforgiving. I got two good swings in a row once, but most of the time I failed horribly. I felt like it might be easier if the player had lots of momentum so you could focus just on the swing and not also on pressing the right direction as you go around the corner.
The pixel art and music are solid. Nice work.

It's a neat game, although I have to say that the difficulty curve skyrockets quite quickly before you get a hang of the movement. Nonetheless I really enjoyed it!

I love the hover board art and cool mechanics although it's a little bit hard to master but it's a great game👍

If you want to play something which has a dark story and first person perspective to find all your answers and survive at the same time then do check my game

I found the game to be fun! Not like I’m good at it though, lol. Do you mind rating my game when you get a chance?

really hard game but fun at the same time the movement is a little hard it's not smooth.

Pretty nice game! The grapping and the dash were fun mechanics to use along side trying to get a good high score on the leaderboard. Movement was a bit too acceleration based making it feel not the greatest though and having the most recent thing you picked up be the thing you use next lead to some instances where I meant to use one but used the other (youve got a button to switch but I cant really tell which one I'm on the from the small icon in the corner plus its hard to try to switch while speedrunning)

Great game, loved the movement felt very smooth and the grappling mechanic. Just found it a bit hard, but overall good job!

Nice job on the in-game tutorial tips! It would have been so much more difficult to understand how to play the game without them. It definitely takes a lot of commitment to get good at, which I like. Overall, I thought the game was fun!

I really like the idea and the character ! :)

It was a bit too hard for me though. Maybe movement would gain from being more responsive ? Other than that,  I always enjoy a well made grappling feature, so good job ! :D

Mechanics are great, but the game was hard for me - I couldn't finish level 4. I really like the graphics. And it would be nice if the grapple was longer. Overall nice game!

Submitted(+1)

Good mechanic, you have to get used to it, then it's ok. I like the game

It's a good idea and the art it good to look at. I felt that the movement was a bit clunky and I liked the idea but it was really hard to execute. It looked cool though when I did!

Otherwise excellent job!

I like the idea and the art style. The movement was unfortunately too painful to keep me motivated to learn and get past the second turret. Perhaps being able to change the length of the grapple after hooking can at least alleviate some of this pain.
