How does you game fit the theme?
This is a mental-health focused typing game aimed at creating a soothing environment for you to feel a little less alone in. I chose to use "you're not alone" in a way which would help players feel comforted in the way they feel & experience the world. I hope people realise they share things they feel with others & leave playing the game feeling less alone in the world. You're not alone, it's going to be okay - stay.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything was made entirely from scratch & completed solo, except for the SFX, which have been credited in the description of my game.

14 notes afterThat was quite a surprise. I wasn't understanding the concept at first but the background music was super soothing and, to be honest, I kinda needed something like that today. It's hard to evaluate as it was a very different experience, but I'm glad I got to play it.
I'd suggest allowing the player to skip the intro on play again, or making the letters appear faster. I know it's supposed to be a calm experience but I got a bit anxious as I felt the letters were showing up too slowly, but it's a really minor thing.
Maybe adding a gentle beep to sound when the player finishes a phrase, I raised the effects sound to the max but I think there was no sfx when you finish a phrase. I also didn't understand why there were pipes and some repeated words when I started writing a phrase, but I didn't bother much about it anyway.
Oh, and perhaps making the phrases that show up once you complete your phrase could have some fading effects to look pretty, but that's just a suggestion since I really liked the background and kept on thinking on ways to make it even more soothing.
That being said, great work and thanks for the experience!

Taking Out The TrashWhat a wonderful and creative take on the theme especially in todays society with the world being so virtual people do often feel alone. Loved the art and music and ui. Loved the concept of the game honestly perfect. As other have mentioned couple bugs with the typing but other than that grteat game and idea you should be proud

Duck RampageI really appreciate what you’ve done with this game. For people who struggle with their mental health, these small affirmations are such an important thing to incorporate into your daily thoughts. For someone who doesn’t struggle with these things on a daily basis, it’s a very good reminder to be patient and understanding with others who are dealing with these kinds of negative thoughts.
From a more technical perspective the UI was very clean and responsive and looked beautiful. It was a nice calming meditative exercise. Thanks for putting the time into making this.
