Nice game! I liked the idea, however, the movements was a bit weird because of the gravity I think, I would appreciate if you play my game and give me your opinion :)

Very fun game, can't believe it was made in just one week. Could still use some polish tbh. There are a few things that felt quite off. The way the camera follows the player is quite annoying, and the jumping is way too floaty, but an overall very fun game!

(Would appreciate it if you tried my game, its quite short)

Cool concept you got here! The game is definitely heading in the right direction, just need a some fine tuning to make it better.  Many of the things I want to talk about has already been mention by others but here are some feedback I have, hopefully it'll be helpful:

  • Audio: The music fits really well, it's quite engaging and keeps the player progressing! However, the game could use a bit more audio feedback, such as when the character dies, when you switch character, environmental (platform moving, spinning blade, etc) and when you enter the door to next level. Additionally, although the sound effects fits well, I felt the volume can be balanced better, for example, the firing sound and level start sound can be rather loud compare to other sounds.
  • Visual: The visuals are really well made, well done! Similarly, I wish there're more visual indicator as to which character is the active atm, perhaps highlighting it?  Also it's good to hold the scene a bit when the character dies, which you can use this time to add some effects/animation (screen turn blur/fade out, etc) and it'll act as some sort of visual feedback before jumping to the menu.
  • Gameplay: The gameplay is simple, easy to understand yet fun and engaging! I love how each characters has their own unique ability for each different situation. There's definitely lots of potential level design to add to the game. Incase player forgets what the each character's ability are, you could also add somewhere for players to read it mid game, perhaps the pause menu?

Overall, I know there's not much time in a week to do all those things above but I do hope these feedback helps you  if you decide to take your project further or in your future projects. Anyways, I enjoy playing the game and it's quite well made! Keep it up! ^_^

Thanks for the feedback

It's the best one yet :)

yeah well, the ai literally jumped into the spikes, or you can freeze a character in the air, needs some more work lmao

Developer (2 edits)

Well you need to switch character else or the AI will follow you and lead themselves to death

But now I think a stop follow button would be great

Nice game bro

I had some points on the game

It would be better if you added checkpoints also I didn't know how to pass level one there was a big wall and I didn't pass it so I skip to play level 2

there's some glitches in jammie

Overall, great experience and good game

GO ON BRO!

Thanks for playing :)

There is a platformer that can lead you to a button that you met before the door

Just click that button then the door will be open

Very pleasant game!

The characters are very cute and the concept of switching between them to benefit from their special ability is well exploited.

Congratulations :)

I liked the concept, I saw some glitches when the screen is scrolling, I think you could fix it by switching the cinemachine brain "update method" setting.

Thanks for playing and the tip

good game! We'd appriciate if you rate our game too! cheers!

I liked some ideas of the game which are kinda 'implicit' like for example the fact that every one follow the leader regardless of wever it'll instantly make them die or not.  As a room of improvement it would be cool if buttons disappeared after you pressed them.Graphics are simple but clean, overall nice work !

Nice game, quite interesting to work through! Seems to have lots of potential, maybe just a bit more polishing, better enemy AI and feedback with the buttons visually.

Nice game with interesting puzzles. Controls are not very precise for platformer-thing and I died several times from this :)

Also it was fun when I jumped on the platform with the first character and all the others followed him and fell down on the spikes xD.

At first I thought this was just another average platformer game with floaty controls. Then I played a bit more and realised that this was a really fun game with potential. Definitely could be a gem with a bit more polish.

Developer

Thanks you :)

Great game, I like the idea of saving characters like in Bro Force. Good job!

Not a fan of the platformer controls since it was not snappy. Jump was very floaty, lacked a variable jump height, and didn't have coyote time. Also no feedback on pressing buttons (it stays red so I don't know if I pressed it or not). Nevertheless, good job and I had fun playing it :)

Actually, the WebGL version has some problems

In the windows version when you click it plays a sound

I actually made a game very similar to this for the wowie jam! I like the art and the switching mechanic isn't entirely fleshed out but I figured it out! I just wish you didn't have to restart from the begginingif you die or maybe you could have health?

I wanted to add some checkpoints but left with no time

A very enjoyable little puzzle game with a unique style and feel, reminded me a bit of a flash game, I will say the following is very buggy with it sometimes happening that a character will move in front of the one they are to follow causing them to fall into spikes.

Developer (2 edits)

Thanks for playing :)

about that, I did it on purpose whenever there are spikes you have to switch characters and do something them to not fall

but now I think a "stop following" button would be great

A nice game ! However, puzzles could have been a bit more difficult. Still a good time !

Developer

Thank you!!

I couldn't make the puzzles difficult duo to the time span

this is a good job I like the gameplay :) this has a very interesting style mechanic and i personally don't like to read so i got softlocked until i read dialogue. I got possibly a little overhalf way and then died a few times i don't like having to restart from the beginning due to a mistake in the movement controls.
