Very, very impressive entry. Definitely beats ours and most of the other ones ive seen here. I did get softlocked a few times but developing a card game in 3 days is something very impressive.

Submitted

In my opinion this is the best submission in this jam. A lot of content, fun gameplay, beautiful aesthetics and great sound design and everything done by one person. Wow... This is just amazing. You deserve the first place.

Submitted

imo this game could have a future as a commercial product

you put a lot of effort into complex to build and easy to play and understand game play, good job!

+: concept, graphics

-: no music, got softlocked

WOW - hard to believe this was made in only three days! One of my runs I got soft-locked by two cells fighting and had to restart. Had fun making my Bob the Blob a god >:)

-Submitted LEGIONS and Xenon- (Itch doesn't show both)

Thanks for checking out my game, it's great to hear you enjoyed it! The soft lock was perhaps the next thing I wanted to fix if I'd had more time (I'd intended for if you wait a really long time then the enemy will just spam bruisers at you, but didn't have time to get it working)

Submitted

You did a phenomenal job. It's a massive scope for such a small time, and you should be really proud.

Pretty impressive to have the difficulty scaling, clean tutorial, and game itself all done in the jam window - nicely done!

Thanks for playing!

Ok, no kidding, this is the best game I've played this jam. And what's this, am I seeing a Godot Engine loading? I love it! You just made an almost better inscription in three days. I hope to see you in the top 3. I just love this game!

Developer

Thanks for checking out my game! It is indeed made in Godot - I moved over from Unity a few months ago and haven't looked back!

nice game! I liked the way how token works, because It makes player to help allies, not just watching the battle.

Developer

Thanks for playing! That's exactly the reason I put the tokens in, so it's good to know they did what they were supposed to

Submitted

It seems you took inspiration from Inscryption. I loved your game!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I did indeed take inspiration from a couple of games, but yes, mainly Inscryption (I played it a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it.) But I tried to mix it up a bit by making it real-time so it wasn't a complete rip-off

Submitted

And I liked the fact you took some portions of ideas and made them in your own way! Great job! I'll send your project to another Inscryption fan to try it out))

A really good deck building game with a lot of customizability! A really good submission given the amound of time. Setting the difficulty is always really hard in a game jam, but you completely dodged that with all the settings. Well done

Thanks for checking out my game, it's great to hear you liked it! I've had problems with getting the difficulty right on my games before, so I was definitely thinking of this when I was designing the difficulty system for this game. (Because now it's the player's fault when the game's too hard, not mine! :P)

I am impress you made a whole deck building card game in the window we had. I have designed a few them of and getting that polished in 3 days is impressive. I like the sound design. needs some music though.

Developer

Thanks for playing! When I was designing the game on Friday I was definitely thinking to myself "is this overscoped?" (I only just about managed to finish it, but maybe that means it was perfectly scoped?)

I'm glad you liked the sound design; it definitely would have been improved by some music but I didn't manage to find anything that really fit on a quick look around freesound etc (and certainly didn't have time to make any haha)

Submitted

If you ever need sounds or music let me know. I'm a producer and can make stuff very quickly

The Sound desing was on point, had a good time playing it!

The Sound desing was on point, had a good time playing it!

Developer

Thanks for playing - this is the first time I've tried making pretty much all the sounds myself so it's great to know it worked!

Submitted

I loved playing this and it was really addictive. The sound effects match this so well and the artwork is really fitting. If there was more content I could play this for hours on end.

Developer

Thanks for checking out my game! I'm glad you liked the sound effects - I felt pretty silly making it, just sitting around making weird noises into a microphone for a couple of hours, so it's great to know that they were appreciated!

This is a very good card game, I liked the idea of tokens, using health to play cards, being able to increase score of the game by increasing difficulty of the game with a ton of different settings and then afterwards absorbing your own cards together to make more powerful ones!

Developer

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you liked it! I changed the mechanics for how the absorbing worked several times while I was making the game, so it's great to hear it worked out well in the end

Amazing game! Only found a bug when putting it on max difficulty.

Developer

Thanks for playing! What was the bug by the way?

Submitted

The screen went black when I started the level. First I maxed out every setting, started the game, and when I started the first level, the screen turned black and nothing else was happening.

I loved this game !!
