If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
There's a turtle in a fridge and if you make too much noise you wake it up.

Any additional information for voters?
Have fun! :)

What a good intro! It really hooked me in! The sound design on this game is on the whole superb! With a whole bunchof voice recorded sounds that work very very well! The title screen song is also hilarious, and really adds to the theming of the game!

The gameplay itself really hooks you in, but at this point I'm slightly alarmed about what is in Gurtle's Fridge 😮🦶. I managed to last about 22 days, which I think is pretty good! 😅

Overall, I had a lot of fun with this game! A nice simple concept, but executed to perfection! Well done!

This was a cute little game, and one of the more wholesome implementations of the modifier so far lol.

The sound was awesome, especially the music and the semi-rapping, it all combined for a very much "so bad its good" game.

The graphics combined with the theme of food almost reminds me of like a cheap kids educational game or something.

Excellent work!

The presentation of this game is honestly some top-notch SBIGness, and the gameplay (and seemingly intentionally contrived) scoring system oozes SBIG-y energy. The rather large variety of recipes (with their tastefully occasional somewhat absurd ingredients (infrequent enough to not get to the point of being the boring sort of ‘expected wackiness’), along with the different selection of items in the fridge for different recipes) does help to provide some replay value, avoiding monotony.

Overall, definitely a SBIG game.

The game in general is awesome and I love it, but the sound is beyond amazing lol. Great entry.

A weird and very funny little game. I overall liked it. Well done.

I think I just made 8000 euros for baking a pizza with a severed foot. I'm also pretty sure that the sleeping turtle was in the fridge at some point. This game is odd, and absurd... but in a fun way. It just comes at you and when you see something funny, you don't have time to question it. You just put that severed foot an that pizza and keep at it! Fun little game. Nice Job!

The plot of this thing is hilariously absurd. The opening crawl epitomizes So Bad It's Good, and the fact that the text doesn't quite line up with the description is a plus, not a minus. The gameplay concept reminds me of old flash games and definitely fits this jam; it's janky but a lot of fun. Using the price of the ingredients as the score was a great weird choice too. The graphics are appealing and maybe a little too nice to SBIG, but the a capella music fits perfectly.

There are a few issues, but to be honest they're pretty minor. One is that the difficulty doesn't scale linearly; I got some easy recipes, and then a full course meal. Another is that because there's no break between rounds, I didn't have time to read what the recipes were actually for (eg Hot Dog) and I felt like I was missing flavour text. Finally, the hit detection isn't the best, though it's not so bad the game is unplayable.

I think this is one of the best (or at least most so-bad-it's-good) entries I've played so far.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! Those criticisms are all very valid. One thing I will note is that we did try to increase the downtime between rounds, but it took away a lot of the frantic fun so we kept it very low intentionally. In hindsight, I do wish there was a way to get a better look at the flavour text, though, maybe through a post-game screen that lists all the meals you made.
