Peak masterpiece. When [spoiler] said "let's see who's...  O U T  O F  O R D E R ", I immediately started shaking and crying on the spot. I out of ordered so hard.

On a more serious note, that was really fun! The gameplay was awesome and the fakeout was really unexpected. I also loved the lines of the enemies, and the final plot twist was absolutely insane. Definitely one of my favorites so far. Great job!

Ah yeah, happened to me too while debugging the other day. Idk why I thought adding a Charles Calvin mod would be a good idea. He didn't actually have the greatest plan.

As of now, the only way to modify your checkpoint would be to replace your checkpoint.dat save file (in the same directory as the mods folder) by a backup one generated in the checkpoint you want.

Zero complaints. Just weaow.

Really tho, this was extremely fun. I literally can't find a single flaw. It's perfect for this jam. Can't wait for the sequel of the sequel. #JusticeForHerman

The modifier was perfectly implemented. It was such a great and unexpected twist on what seemed like an Angry Birds-like game, and the way the story kept becoming more and more interesting was incredible and really funny. I'm also impressed by how much dialogue ol' Cappy had for the game overs (yes, I'm so bad at the game I saw it all, please ignore that). Details like those are what make a game go from good to great imo.

If I had to suggest some improvements, I guess it would be adding some little "comfort" enhancements to the second section, like a slightly larger collision box for the duck's feet and maybe even a bit of Coyote Time, but those are really specific, small nitpicks. Overall, incredible entry!

It took me an embarassingly long amount of time to get the "go, fish" pun lol. That's really clever.

Really nice game, and awesome first game! The art was super pretty, and the unfinished features are actually great for this jam, since they're the main SBIG part of the game imo. As a suggestion, maybe I'd make the bait obstacles have some warning time like the hooks and the nets, since sometimes they appear right in front of you and they're almost impossible to dodge. Then again, that might just be a skill issue on my part. Either way, great entry!

This was an excellent masterpiece to play as the first game in this jam.

The dialogues were really funny, and the mini games were also very fun, while also having that lovely SBIG jank everywhere. The only suggestions I'd have would be including some sounds (even though the explanation for having no sound was amazing) and maybe making the fire mini game a bit more clear, since for a while I thought I was still supposed to dodge the obstacles and touch the other stuff with the character, and not with the flames (although that might just be me being stupid lol).

Either way, awesome entry!

The dialogue in the game was absolutely hilarious lol. The mini games were also really varied and fun, and everything fit the SBIG vibe perfectly. My only issue was what others said about looking up at the start, but I simply read the comments and that fixed it. All in all, awesome entry!

Really original entry! And its name is certainly earned lol. I love how the fun relies so much on the game being janky rather than jankiness being secondary to the game. The controls were a bit hard to grasp for me at first, but once I got the hang of them I had a lot of fun, and it was great how there were so many options.

I absolutely loved the story and the gameplay variety! It was nice to see a message like this delivered in such an appropriate context, considering that the players will be mostly game devs from this jam lol. In addition, the levels in general were really fun and challenging enough, which I personally enjoy. 

My only issue were two possible bugs. The auto-runner level had a part where you have to jump to one of two brown platforms (each with one spike), and then there's a long sequence of shooting blocks which shoot extremely rapidly, and they were near impossible to dodge. I have the feeling that the player was supposed to crouch under the bullets during that part, but gravity made those bullets fall, so it was impossible to dodge them like that. I also noticed that the rock sprites had a black background which didn't allow the player to see beyond them, but that might've been intentional (shown in picture).

Either way, this game was really fun to play, and it definitely has that "So bad it's good" feel to it. Great entry!

Really creative use of the modifier! The gameplay was pretty original, it was fun to move the mouse to attack instead of just pressing a button, and the suggestions were a good way to make the gameplay more strategic and varied. And the boss fight was incredibly well-made, with plenty of different attacks and phases. My only complaint is that the gameplay was a bit frustrating at times, although that might just be me sucking at the game lol. Either way, great entry!

PS: out of curiosity,  is the Boss based on the Void from r/place?

After finishing all 68 mini games, I find this to be such an original way to implement the modifier and I love it! The mini games were implemented in such original ways and were quite varied, and I really enjoyed finding out how to solve "it's dangerous to go alone". It also really feels "So bad it's good", making it an appropriate entry for the jam.

My main issues were the controls in some parts (some Coyote Time in the platforming sections would've made some of them less frustrating, and the rotating mazes required you to hold the arrow/AD keys for a bit too long before moving, for example) and the fact that I didn't get some Votebot questions (I think the ones asking about the letter count might be buggy, but maybe that's just me not understanding the question), but other than that, this is a great entry, and I hope it's at least in the top 10, because it deserves it imo.

I had such a blast with this game. This entry has the best implementation of the modifiers I've seen in the whole jam so far. It also encapsulates the So Bad It's Good feel perfectly. My only nitpick is that sometimes the QTE sequences took a tiny bit too long, but that's a minor issue. Amazing entry!

It's a fun game, my main issue (maybe it's just me), but the controls weren't always clear. Other than that, it was quite enjoyable!

The concept is cool and the levels are so creative, but the detection is either off or too precise, making it hard to play.

It's a quite funny game, I'd have implemented a respawn when you fall off the map tho. Nice entry!

The music is HILARIOUS and the leaderboard is a nice touch. Really good entry!

It's a nice little game, but maybe I'd change the bad suggestion image, since it's hard to distinguish it from normal suggestions that are also red. Other than that, pretty fun game!

This entry was so funny and enjoyable. I loved everything about it. The stock sounds and images were amazing, and this kind of silly random humor is my favorite thing in the world.

This one's amazing! I had a lot of fun with all the dialogues and the game in general.

Ironically, the game feels really polished in plenty of aspects, like the dialogues, the camera angles and some of the music (I adore the salad song and the salad surfing mechanic). And of course, it feels absolutely unfinished in others, which is completely coherent with the Tortoise Island Media Fund narrative, and it just adds to the fun and the "So Bad it's Good"-ness. The game completely nails the "leaked alpha build" feeling it tries to give, which is perfect for this jam. In addition, the absolute randomness of the story make it feel dynamic and fun without ever becoming monotonous.

Overall, I really liked this entry. Hope it gets a good score, it really deserves it.

I wasn't expecting to find such a heartwarming game here. This is adorable, I  got the two main endings and I absolutely loved it. And I love the gameplay variety. Only thing is that I didn't really understand the eating mini game, but that might be just me. Great job!

That was really fun! I loved the originality and how it poked fun at hacking tropes. Some hacking sounds would've been neat, but it was really enjoyable regardless. Paraphrasing IGN, "it really makes you FEEL like you're a hacker in a blockbuster movie".

Also, this is the best interpretation of the modifier I've seen.
