Absolute. Masterpiece.

This entry was so funny and enjoyable. I loved everything about it. The stock sounds and images were amazing, and this kind of silly random humor is my favorite thing in the world.

Incredible submission.

This game is quintessential SBIGJam! I had no idea what I was headed into, but it turned out I was headed into a masterpiece 😍

The game is surprisingly cinematic, with lots of very well executed cutscenes and splendid voice acting! The game told a, well, story, and has a lot of great narrative beats.

The gameplay has a tonne of different styles, and is super duper varied! Loved the platforming, shoot-em-up, and even the dialogue tree elements of the game!

Can't sing Spirit Elf's praises enough! Massive well done!

Wow, this one was short but sweet! The voice acting was superb, and combined with the horrid drawings and stock photos it reminded me of like an old Newgrounds cartoon.

The controls are a bit wonky with the arrow keys and space being used. I have piano fingers and my laptops keyboard is fairly condensed so it wasn't too bad for me personally but I can imagine it being annoying for others.

The minigames can be a bit rough, like dying instantly in the dodging elf bots section, but the checkpoints were incredibly generous so it wasn't a big deal.

But the important parts, the story, voice acting, general presentation and visuals absolutely fit the theme of "so bad its good". And for what appears to be the first game you've released (at least on itch.io) congrats on a strong entrance lol.

Excellent work!

Ridiculous and funny. Gameplay felt a little annoying at times, but since it was so short, it wasn't too bad. At least not too bad to not be good. Voice acting was extremely funny, but a little hard to understand.

This certainly qualifies as So Bad It’s Good.

If you want a little bit of constructive criticism, allowing WASD controls (along with the existing arrow button controls) would make the gameplay experience a bit less uncomfortable, considering that spacebar is used to jump and the player’s right hand would probably be a bit preoccupied using their mouse to aim/shoot.

Anywho, control discomfort aside, this right here is some definitive SBIG-ness.

This a very funny little game. I liked it. Well done.

I'd call this one a sleeper hit. It was almost a late entry, with a barebones jam page and no screenshots, but the actual experience is exactly what I think when I think "so bad it's good".

By all objective measures, this is a bad game. The gameplay is barebones to put it generously, the voice acting is terrible, the story is cliched, the graphics are ugly and the audio design is mediocre at best. Yet, at the same time, it works. The story and voice acting cross that magic line from just bad into hilariously bad. The mediocre gameplay, mspaint-looking graphics, and overall jank are entertaining on their own and ensure you can't take the thing seriously. Finally, it doesn't overstay its welcome; the game is short and not too difficult, so there's never any chance for it to become tedious or monotonous.

It was short and it came from nowhere, but this is absolutely one of my favourite entries in the jam.
