Hi! thanks for playing it on the stream!! So the game is still unfinished, we didn’t get enough time to properly polish it during the jam. We were aiming to make a Broughlike inspired by Michael Brough’s games. You play as a pill that’s trying to kill the bacteria around you. There’s a health panel on the right which you probably missed, and a mini-map where each tile represents a separate room.

You bump into enemies to kill them. You can use WASD or swipe to move in the intended direction. It’s turn-based, so whenever you take an action, every enemy also gets a turn. You also have different abilities that rotate every move, so planning ahead is important. The ability queue is shown on the right (current + next ability).

We wanted this to feel like a small roguelike, which is why the abilities aren’t explained directly — you’re meant to understand what they do through repeated runs.

There’s no ending yet — the intended loop was:

  • start with no abilities
  • get new abilities in the corner rooms
  • once you’ve collected all abilities, return to the center room to escape

We couldn’t integrate that full flow in this build, so right now you start with all abilities from the beginning and can just fight enemies. Enemies also have different ability types — for example, the yellow one can phase through walls, and the red one can destroy walls (you have those too).

Thanks for being patient! we are still working to finish and put out a polished build!

Hi there! I saw your stream! the dash is not broken, you can't traverse that gap without a dash, you were supposed to go below and acquire the dash powerup, i should've included an in-game map, it's confusing :p Thank you for playing! The stream was fun!

Great puzzles!! The art and the sound design is very satisfying! great job!

hiya! Thanks for trying the game! I implemented some weird bit operation logic to enable and disable the upgrades, messed up the calculations somewhere i guess. Thanks for pointing the bug out! I'll check it out!

cool concept, Its almost like a metroidvania! i tried it on unity play, Great job!

Good concept! Great work! i guess some of the sprites have filters on them which is why they appear blurry you can turn them off in unity and reimport the assets!!

Cool cutscene! The character feels very good to control! Great job!!

Great take on theme!

Its a really fun game, i finished all of the levels!! Great job!

Thank you so much for playing!! The boss fight was supposed to have two phases, but the second phase was very buggy so i had to cut it. next time i guess ;)

Thank you so much for playing!! Didn't get enough time to add sfx and music :(
I'll make sure to add alternate controls in the next jam, now that i think of it,  it does get very difficult for people who are not used to using the arrow keys.

Thank you so much for the feedback!! I really appreciate it!

This is absolutely hilarious! Great game! Your interpretation of the theme was the most unique one i have seen so far!

Great concept! Loved your interpretation of the theme!

A great plot! sleep well gurtle!

lol! Their grim fate is inevitable

Thank you for playing! we really appreciate it. We wish we could've added more depth to the plain gameplay, probably next time!

Consider this as a lesson. Do not ever mock tortoises, understood?

Thank you for playing! we really appreciate it!

Those rabbits had it coming, would love to know the details! we should probably add a "based on true events" tag

Thank you for the feedback! We all are pretty new to game development so we decided to just keep it simple and finish something. We had a disagreement over whether we should include swear words or not, so we just ended up censoring them. There was a plan to add rabbits that can hurt you and different levels to progress through but we ended up spending a lot of time on the intro! We'll do better next time! Thanks for playing!

Percival's an absolute genius, great job!!

Thanks for playing! i should've added an in-game tutorial, i'll keep that in mind for the next time!

That was a really cool mechanic! And the music was really great too! Great job.

This was a really cool! loved the art and the concept!

thanks man! I wish I could've polished it more and fixed some bugs, but thank you for playing really appreciate it!

great game! I really liked your interpretation of the theme!

i frickin love it!!!

it really moved me. thanks
