very cool
i really didn't expect to find a story based game with this theme
the mechanic is so unique
the art is great too
and most improtantly the game is very interesting and enjoyable
i think the only thing you should maybe add is a small in-game tutorial
other than that
you should totally make this a full release, spend a month on it maybe and get it out there
this was definitely one special submission for a 50 hour game jam
and i believe you're the first person i will give 5 stars on creativity

Holy crap, this game is almost perfect in the 3 categories! :D First off, im kind of a sucker for branching stories like this, so, yeah, this story is great :) Also, i love the art! it kind of reminds me of ASCII art :) Overall, amazing game, great job! :D

Amazing use of dice! Even in a text based game, you've added an element of strategy. I felt myself weighing the options of risking just one more roll for the "more interesting" option while having to risk losing the safer path. Good stuff, and great art!

I dont think you could ask for a better look and feel for this game.

I loved the whole aesthetic of this game, really fit the mood. Maybe I got lucky, but I was able to get to the end fairly easily my first playthrough, so I purposefully took more risks on the next and got stabbed. Good times!

I absolutely love the art - you did an amazing job with it! It's a very interesting concept having your choices be determined by chance in a text-based game. Very well executed!

Fantastically done. The art direction is magnificent, and the gameplay has a surprisingly satisfying risk/reward aspect. This is the first of the jam games I've rated so far that makes me want to come back for more. However, once you figure out what the correct path is, it is immensely irritating to have it ruined by bad rng.
