Fun arcade game! It was very addictive to play, although maybe a bit too easy - I managed to stack up well over 20 d4 dice, and kept rolling more and more hearts. Some more sound effects (like when killing enemies) might also have been nice. Good job!

Very neat art, a satisfying gameplay and addictive game, if i didn't have to rate the game i'd play for at least an hour more ! great game !
This game looks and sounds great! But a major oversight is that you run out of knives almost immediately, forcing you to rely on area attacks. If enemies are supposed to drop ammo, that didn't ever happen for me. I love the core of this game so I hope you'll continue to develop it further!
The concept and execution of using the 2 dices were done well! I was a little confused at first but I quickly got the gist of it. I love the knife attack, it felt good to clear out such a huge amount of enemies. I would love to see different enemies that can only be killed or killed easier by certain powerups to incentivise strategy on the dice rolls.
quite fun to play!
the art is pretty nice but it has its flaws
for one the pixel size of the sprites and the background doesn't match
and the second thing which is something more i dislike personally is that the background floor has quite a lot of patterns and contrast to it which distracts from the important parts of the game, it feels like noise.
that being said i do like the art
the music was nice
the soundeffects were well picked, but i think you should've added some to the knife too!
and overall i think you did a great job at making a fun little game!
Now this is it, I had a lot of fun playing this one. Easy to learn and frantic dicing later on. The music was fitting and the art was nice. I really don't feel like I have any improvements to suggest, perhaps the pickup items could be more sushi-esque?
Well done!
110230!
Wow, much more fun than I expected. My main gripes were that I had to look away from the player to see the timer for when I could reroll the dice. It was long enough that I didn't just want to spam the spacebar, and looking away could cause me to collide with an enemy. It would be nice if the timer was placed above the player, or he'd flash white when I could reroll, or even if there was a sound cue. Also, there was a small bug where the cleavers would disappear if you stood next to a wall. Apart from that, it was really nice!
Love the unique take on the theme here - it's integrated nicely and makes for a fun and challenging bullet hell. My only gripe is that the UI design made it difficult for me to dodge enemies and keep an eye on my dice at the same time. Good job!
This was a really fun game! I wish I got the cleavers more often but maybe I was just unlucky
Take my 250k and leave me alone, that's just too addictive.
Jokes aside, a solid entry! A lot of little things done right for a bullet hell - different abilities, gradual difficulty increase, the hitboxes are forgiving, and I never had a single enemy spawned directly in me. My main complains are that the UI is way too far for a bullet hell game - being constantly focused on evading the enemies leaves me completely in the dark about my current health and abilities count/cooldowns. Also, the cleavers sadly disappear from a smallest collision with the wall, and since they're bigger than the player I never can use them standing near one. I wish they had no collision at all, or at least had an invulnerability period in the beginning. Also, it took me some time to even realize that tables and chairs have no collisions at all.
Still, great job! Really addictive, the point system is great, pickups always give you something to do, the sound and general presentation is on a level. Loved it!
Yeah, the cleaver bug is the biggest issue with the game so I'm so sorry about that. I actually got a lot of feedback on ways I could improve the UI so thank you for your feedback and I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Also, congrats, you've stolen 3rd place!
Second place is currently 421k and first is 750k (I genuinely don't know how but screenshots don't lie XD)
Ok, that's heartbreakingly close to a million, but I'll leave it. Second playthrough got me appreciating some more details - the invulnerability during attack and especially double attacks, and a small vfx that shows you that you have a double attack. Ended the game with 300 unused pickups though, that's a shame.
OMG WE HAVE A NEW RECORD!!!!
Also, yeah I never made it past 60k so I really don't know what the game experience is like in those really high scores. I didn't even know the game was playable at that point because sushi spawn faster and more often as time goes on.
I spent a lot of time balancing D4 drops for the early game but I realized that I need to reduce the drop rates as it goes on. It's good for when there's 5-10 sushi on screen, but they drop like candy when you've got 200. I am so amazed though. You are currently at the top of the leaderboard!
This game was so much fun to play. Throwing the cleaver and hearing all the wet meaty sound was the best. My hand even got all sweaty over this casual game. Art is lovely and sound is also good.
After a while, it become quite hard to use all the power-up d4. I think I had 40-ish before unused d4s before I lost. It's also quite a challenge to control the character while trying to spam shift (though personally I feel it's more fun that way).
Great job, and thank you for the fun!
This was so fun to play! Your music really fits the intensity of the sushi onslaught, and I like having the 3 main forms of attack/defence. I really enjoy how relying on the D6 needs to be weighed up with your proximity to the sushi/how many sushi/my health etc. You have made a very enjoyable game. Great submission!
This game was really cute! I overall enjoyed the experience it was creative and unique the dice were really interestingly incorporated into the game and the art was really cute! great game overall and I really enjoyed it!
