This was a great entry! I have some issues with audio levels as some sound effects could end up being much louder than others. I also feel that the player movement could use a little smoothing on its motion.

Most of the visuals are very well done; I personally wish the stages had a less aggressive pattern of movement. That’s about it for the negatives, the presentation here has very little in terms of issues and it is a very readable game.

The concept is of course the real star of the show, both in story and how it actually affects gameplay. I wish there was a category to represent how much I appreciated the use of dog.jpg, but I’ll just tack it onto Story for now.

I cleared the game once only doing the upper floors, then once more deliberately going closer to the Cursed zones to find the person I missed; I wish there was a better indicator of how closer you are to the two realms as I had to blindly guess how low I was going. I would also recommend setting the HUD scaling so that the game is playable in WebGL’s iframe view as opposed to needing fullscreen enabled.

Most of my feedback is just nitpicking for future releases should you continue the project; you did a good job with this.

Thanks for taking the time to provide such great feedback! All of your wish list items are definitely on point and things I'd like to look at in further updates, so this brings me some confidence that I'm going in the right direction, given the great things you've released so far.

This really is helpful as I'd like to expand this idea further  and  have tonnes of ideas spinning in my head as we speak :)

Cool game ! Very relaxing and fun to play. The ending made me think about "The Good Place" humour which I find very funny :D Great work !

Developer

Thanks a lot! I heard that's a great show - gotta check it out sometime

This is amazing, the graphics look great, the high quality menu sets the tone for the whole experience. My main feedback is that a softer transition between levels would make the gameplay feel more smooth. Overall a winner for me.

Developer

Thanks very much! Agreed on the transitions. I'm currently experimenting with different types of transitions. I really want them to flow  in the future.

Nice trippy visuals and simple fun gameplay, good job!

Developer

Thanks!

interesting gameplay and idea. I loved it. little easy to level up but okay.

Developer

Thanks a lot. Hoping to make some tougher levels soon :)

Really liked it.  Great models and sound that all share a uniform style, and just the right amount of lights and effects to be cool without being distracting.  If I had to give some advice it would be to make it simpler ("do touch this type, don't touch this type").  Or increase complexity slightly at each stage, rather than all at once before first level.

I would also reduce the amount of text at the start.  A lot of people will skip something that long, so maybe just try to get the main points in a shorter space?  You could always include everything in a "Learn" or "Tutorial" screen.

But I'm nit-picking - this is great.  Congrats!

Developer

Thanks so much for the feedback! You're completely right too. I originally had a cool idea for indicators for different types of objects, but had to cut for the time being. I like your thoughts on the tutorial. I think I'm going to turn the first couple levels into example levels with some hints.

After I saw the reward for completing the game I had to see every ending. Got 3 endings - fully worth it.

Developer

Awesome! Glad you got to try some of the other endings!

Great game and a really nice. cute dog, I really tried to help those souls but alas I'm just moderately nice :) great work and unique

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed :) Hoping to make the endings a little more differentiated for future updates.

Great mechanics! Only complaint I have is that my brain needed some time to get used to that non-rotating world outside the game after I played for a while! ;) Looking forward to see the final version with some more levels.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, that final day with hours of testing and adjusting had me tripping afterwards. Thanks for the feedback!

"it is with great regret that i must leave you with only images of a moderate level of niceness and pleasant feelings" loved it!

Edit: Had to go back and try to fully complete it...."Now, young soul...." loved it even more! :D

Developer

Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to go back

Very original, I tried finding all the different endings, loved all the rewards. I would definitely play a more extended version with more levels. Great Idea, great execution!

Developer

Awesome, thank you. Stay tuned :)

This was a amazing experience I had playing this game. I think it could do great if you made it for mobile as well, but anyways, you have done a great job!

Developer

Thanks so much! Agreed about the mobile bit since the stages are so bitesized

Nice game. I liked the music and all the silly objects. Good job.

Developer

Thanks for checking it out!

I think Reed Timmer would probably debate your tornado logic but it makes for an awesome game. The tutorial was entertaining and the ending ("moderate images of niceness" for me) was very rewarding.

Developer(+1)

Haha, maybe the storm chasers need to team up with the ghost hunters some time.  Thanks for your feedback!

Had a great time with this one!! Thanks for the game!!!

Developer

Glad you liked it. Thanks for giving it a go!

This was a fun little game. The rewards for going to heaven and hell, as well as the disclaimer at the beginning got a chuckle out of me. I think it would've been neat if you made the journey to hell more difficult, like more buoyant forces appear to drag you back up. Other than that, great job!

Developer

Hey, thanks so much for the feedback. Glad you enjoyed. You're definitely right. I had to cut a few "downward" stages due to timing, but they will be back!

Submitted(+1)

That is new! I love the way how ut works! It is very different, I really like this idea. It is a pity there are no more levels I want to play it more ^^

Developer (1 edit)

Awesome, that's so nice to hear. Thanks very much. Stay tuned  - more to come :)

nice wee game! made me a wee bit queasy but I get motion sickness super easy and i'm sure most people would be good the spinning floor! i like the idea also, good job!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Hey  thanks for checking it out. Sorry about the motion sickness. I'll look into adding a warning at the beginning. Forgot to mention I've been toying with the idea of having different speeds based on difficulty level, which should hopefully help.

no not at all most deffo a me thing 🤣 it was fun though!
