It is a fun little game, would be awesome if there was a boss after some number of troopers like an AT-AT

Nice little game. It's that each I played my highscores rised, if I played for an hour, I would be the best at it ahah! Well done!

quite cool gameplay!

maybe it would be nice to be able to jump to dodge projectiles

Lovely little game! Very much a casual/arcade/mobile feel to it - making achievements or in game upgrades to get bigger scores might be something to explore. Loved the graphics and animations - really impressive what you achieved with so few sprites!

As a Star Wars fan, I already like it.  :)  However, as I played it, it devolved into a button masher for me.  Still liked it.  The graphics are really great!  Maybe you can add a ground and background, as long as you made it subtle enough.  (The simplicity of the game without them is great, tho.)  May the force be with you!  Cheers!

Of course, now, you could forget the 64x64 restriction if you wanted, too!

Cool music. I like the idea here, too; simple but good fun. It's a bit hard to actually stay ahead of things, though, so it devolves rather into button-mashing, but that's maybe the goal here. And the main player sprite is impressively expressive for being only about 5 pixels high!

Thanks Stuart I appreciate the feedback! I agree the pacing needs some work. I had an idea for more enemy types and bosses but just couldn't fit it in this jam. Plenty of post jam ideas though! :) Thanks again
