Liked that game a lot. Having those two worlds... heaven and hell.. and even their special properties changed like in heaven you never die and float. But you can't do much there than this... and in hell, you risk stuff... also that seamless change in the music style is cool. I like the idea a lot to need heaven and hell as a combination to actually master "life" (or that game). To kind of find the balance between them... Hope to see you on future Game Jams!

I like the swapping music for each world. Very Gianna Sisters.

Couldn't figure out how to get past level 4, and the levels seem to be locked until you complete it. So I guess I'll leave it at that.

The ghosts of your many failures are a nice touch.

Developer

I didn’t know about Gianna Sisters (but thanks for the reference), we based our work on the game Hue.

It’s unfortunate you got stuck on level 4, if you are stuck are the beginning you should remember that you can grab a box and that box block lasers.

Thanks, the feature of your precedents lives surprisingly wasn’t really hard to implement.

Submitted

Nah, I got stuck after the laser. Wasn't sure what to do next.

Things don't necessarily need to be complicated to be worthwhile additions to the game.

Nice game. I _think_ I might have gotten something that might be a bug. In level 2, I managed to somehow put the block on my head and move it down. But when I got down, I couldn't move at all. Not sure if that's intended behavior or a bug.

Developer

Thanks !

That’s unfortunately a bug. However since there is a reset button and that it’s somewhat difficult to put the box on your head it wasn’t high on the list of fixe to do.

That's a serious puzzler!!

I love the change of music and art when inverting and the puzzles are very well made!

Good job, guys! This game has a lot of potential!

Developer

Thanks !

Some people told us that the puzzle were hard. I wish I could have make a more granular difficulty for some of the puzzle.

Submitted(+1)

I think that harder puzzles are way better than easy ones... I don't want to rush through a puzzle game, I want progress to feel rewarding. So I think you made the right decisions!

Cool idea! I like puzzle games :)

I would have liked to be able to select my own input scheme.

Developer

You’ve got good taste, thanks !

Love how the music gets super intense in hell XD (not sure if that is the correct reaction). I also noticed that the win sound effect is also different depending on where you are, nice attention to detail! It is possible that switching dimensions puts you right into spikes which seemed kind of unfair (I think that is especially possible at the end of level 2 if I remember correctly).

Developer

Yeah I wish I could have warned the player somehow there would be spikes so they don’t get surprised. I unfortunately didn’t have the time to make that into the level.

Thanks for your review !

You really nailed the theme here! I loved the music switching too!

Developer

Thanks !

Developer

I'm glad you liked the music!
