I was expecting a purely atmospheric horror game while I was playing this as most recent horror games seem to be. But when it turned out I was actually in some danger that caught me really off guard in a way that very very few other horror games are able to do. This game was so unpredictable and I like that. Well done.
Yeah the asset pack I used for the base apartment is pretty much ripped from PT. I didn’t realise how much until I went and watched a play though after everyone said it’s looks like PT. I haven’t used any loop mechanic though so at least it’s not a clone. Just looks very similar unfortunately.
Fun times! I loved the resolution on the graphics. I thought you did a nice job of balancing story and gameplay. Some games offer players little to no story, which makes us feel like, "Why am I searching for these keys/papers?" while other games offer too much story to the effect of now we're reading newspaper clippings for half an hour. You did a good job of keeping notes succinct enough to convey the story while keeping the pace going and the tension high. I only regret that I didn't get to see the creature! I kind of knew where my go-to hiding spot would be and I immediately hightailed to it when I needed to, but nonetheless I was still unsettled by not knowing when it was safe to leave (which, if I were you, I wouldn't necessarily change because it was fun to have to just take the risk as a player). Thanks again and keep up the good work!
This was fun to play! REALLY good sound design, and there were a couple moments that got genuine screams out of me. Overall, an enjoyable experience! Great work!

Loved the game my guy! I dont understand why everyone is comparing it to P.T tho. I didnt get that vibe at all. If you do make it a full game ill be sure to play it as well :) well done man!
This is a great start! Also don't worry if your game looks like another game because everybody take inspiration from something especially the big game developers all that matters is that your game has its own character. Most games nowadays have the advantage of looking this good so use that to your full extent I can't wait to see more.

I have just gone back and watched a PT playthrough. And my god does the pack I used look identical. I knew that it looked visually similar but I didn't realise it was pretty much identical.
The title didn't really make a lot of sense since I didn't see much about Halloween BUT I REALLY LIKED THE GAME! The game had great tension building and then a nice ugly monster at the end. Amazing concept.

It was a nice experince i enjoyed the sound, visuals only thing that was "bad" was the monster but I understand it wont be perfect since it was made in such a short time overall enjoyable game
