This is such a charming game! The art and music gives off a really nice vibe. I was killed whilst locked in dialogue so perhaps could do with some extra polish but really well done for a game jam game! Thoroughly enjoyed it

Developer

Thanks a lot! The music is kinda based on what I could remember of this track from Banjo Kazooie. Yea the interactions could certainly use some extra polish. I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D

Wow amazing for a jam game, it feels really polished and complete. It's cool the knock back is actually helpful in avoiding enemies :D

Developer

Thank you! Yeah I found that fun :)

This is such a charming game, with the music and characters and art style (particularly liked the sun rays, and shadows), it all fits together so nicely! Well done, definitely one of my favourites. :) My strategy with aiming was to always fully charge up, not sure if there was a better way. And my only visual criticism would be that some objects appeared to "jitter" or move at different times to the rest of the world -- i.e. it looks like the game is supposed to be snapped to "pixels" but some objects are moving at different times and it's off-putting.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! I agree with you about the jittering, I'm not quite sure what causes it because I have pixel snap enabled.

Really great submission! The game is really polished and looks awesome for the time frame which was 7 days. Even without reading all the dialogues you weren't lost and it was actually a pleasurable experience to play!

Thank you! I enjoyed playing your submission too! :)

I think this is one the best game of the jams! only critisism is that the movement feels slow and slippery, and it is kinda anoying. nothing that a quick tweak in the numbers cant fix. Congratulations!

Developer

Wow thank you! Yeah I think the acceleration and friction values need some adjustments! :)

I'm impressed by the passion and effort you put into building an original worldview and creating a narrative text in such a short time. It's fantastic!

I also found the lovable characters and UI design to be very nice.

Developer

Thank you very much!! You're too kind :)

Very nice game

I love the graphics, the music and the nice story.

Its very impressive you finished all of these beautiful assets within 9 days yourself

But consider adding more variety of enemies. Also, shooting things to interact with things isnt very logical :"

I shot by someone at another screen and interacted with him weirdly :"

Make interaction with a different button pls

Also, since player moves slowly, i used the hormones to move faster. It is an interesting idea if one mechanic had several uses.

Developer

Thank you very much :) I made you interact via shooting pheromones because I wanted it to be unique but I agree that it didn't work very well. Thank you for the good feedback :D

I thought the graphics were great - a consistent style throughout - and the menus and UI matched well. I did struggle with the responsiveness of the character movement - it was too "floaty" for me. Also, aiming and shooting was a struggle.

Decent dialog and story made up for it though

Developer

Thank you for the good feedback!

I really liked the dialog, the humor was great. This is really original, great job!

Great game! The art was nice, & the length felt long enough to be a complete experience without dragging on.

However, the enemies were quite annoying. Since you attack by dispelling pheromones, which pushes you back, & you're going towards the right, & the enemy's on the right; it can lead to shooting at the enemy, getting pushed back several screens, & having to go back all over again. Also, the enemy moves way too fast for the player to charge up a shot before they're hit, at least to me.

Overall though, one of the best games in the jam for me so far.

Developer

Thanks a lot! As for the enemies, I just wanted them to be somewhat challenging, you basically need to run away from them while shooting them. Thank you for the feedback! :)
