Nice game, I really like that weapon mechanic! I could surround myself fully with weapons, really felt nice. The visuals look good, I like the colors. I died many times, I maybe bad at this, but I enjoyed it regardless :D

Awesome job!  The projectiles collide with the player meaning they push you around every time they fire, which made maneuvering basically impossible in some cases. I'm not sure if that's a bug or design decision but it made movement very difficult.  Also enjoyed the little Mario placeholders for the weapon UI lol.  Overall fantastic job though, really enjoyed the art and music and overall design of the game.

That's the chaos factor in the game yes, you can choose not to hold down the mouse and the game will definitely be less chaotic. I completely understand where the frustration comes from though. Thanks for playing our game :D

Great game! The weapon mechanic was pretty inventive and I liked the variety in how each artifact was utilized.

I liked the simple graphics, the idea that i can collect and shoot multiple weapons at once and the fact there were multiple levels, that brings the feeling of progression.

I disliked that i had all the weapons and i was shooting a cloud of bullets, and the enemies were able to still get to me. I didn't feel very powerful at all:( 

Still I had some fun collecting the weapons, nice game!

Great game! I love it! It would be cool if in the future the weapons will have some special abilities, for example the fire will set enemies on fire, the plant will poison the enemies, the ice will freeze them and so on. Also some enemies can be imune to some weapons. Overall I really enjoyed playing it!

We would have loved to do that, but when deciding on the gameplay we wanted to focus on getting as much polish as we can on the shooting and the player and didnt want to over achieve and try to get something we couldn't complete. Still, it's an idea we'll definitely think more of when we have more time. Thanks for playing and rating :D

Awesome submission! I had a great time playing it! I really like the idea of controlling where you place the weapons around you, especially since the knockbacks can kind of cancel eachother out. I also love that the weapons are your life count as well. I think adding some more particle effects for when you shoot the weapons, when enemies die, and so on will really take it to the next level. Great job! :)

Really good idea to equip the weapons around the character. The game was fun for a while, but the weapons were hard to find. Are they at fixed locations? Are they dropped by enemies? I couldn't tell. Also, the knockbak when shooting made for poor control of the character, it became annoying after some time. The camera also feels too close in. 

Overall though I think it's a good entry for the jam, fits nice in the theme and was fun to play, just wish the fun lasted longer. Thanks!

I like this game very much. The art style is gorgeous. The story is very interesting and the enemies designs are very cool. Music is also very good. The overall idea is very interesting. Collecting this upgrades and adding them to the wheel makes for some cool game mechanic. I think that the challange is a little too big. Killing 80 enemies takes a lot of time. Overall very well made game :)

The enemy in white is difficult to see when attacks, the size of the field view of the camara would be a little more big and there are a lot of recoil when shoot so somethimes it's hard to control the character, but equipping correctly you can have more control, I liked that mechanic and also the music, great game!

I really like the enemy design was quite impressive. At first, I thought the knockback when shooting was not needed but as I played along I realized balancing out the knockback actually can cancel each other out which makes perfect sense, very unique and creative idea. Nicely done.!

Yes! You got it! Thank you so much for playing our game :D It's only as chaotic as you let it be, and it really depends on how you shoot. Personally I never held down the mouse, i always clicked only as much as needed and focused on the weapons with the strongest attack first, but i guessed that finding that balance was also important in everyone's playthrough. Very interesting game. The art and sound design are amazing. The gameplay lacks some polish. Also i think that the map is too big for this game as there weren't more than 3 enemies around me at a time. Other than that the gameplay is pretty good. Congrats!

Yeah you're absolutely right, we kind of rushed the creation of the map in exchange for the enemies and gun polishing, as the gun and the knockback were our main concerns. Thank you for your kind words! We'll definitely keep all this in mind next time we create something. Can't wait to see where you go next with nori :D

Really liked the concept and unique art style. I enjoyed searching for new types of ammunition. At first I was annoyed that the shooting threw you backwards but soon I used it to my advantage to propel myself away from enemies while blowing them up. It's a slight shame the slot that the crystals go into was still a placeholder image but in games jams sometimes there's not enough time to do everything :)

hahahaha omg I'm glad you talked about the lil mario! our artist actually had a petal up and ready and I added it in the last build but forgot to upload it. Decided that it's fine as we could leave it as homage to our origin in games instead of updating it. Thanks for trying the game :D The propulsion system became fun to use once i knew what to use as ammo and what to use as a personal launcher, so im lowkey glad someone enjoyed it the way i did. Thanks again :D

that music. it was awsome. one issue is the "guns" are crystalls. other than that it was a great game.

We wanted our game to focus on the abilities of the Pheoneican Gods, thus the names Anath, Baal, and Mot. They didn't really have guns so we opted for crystals instead :D

Nice graphics! Also audio I like the song! Cool game design, how the player moved backwards whenever he shot I like that. Also the camera shakes. A good take on the theme also!
