Awesome innovative and Really excellent work. I know if there was more time you will add some more gameplay mechanics. Great Work
The graphics are fantastic! I do love to watch a cascade of systematic chaos in a game like this! 😁I also appreciate the effort put in to make the music sound more unhinged as the chaos unfolded... That was a nice touch!
My only wish would be for a bit more energy in the reactions of the banqueters, and maybe an indication of what each class of banqueter will do in reaction to being struck? If strategy is key to this puzzle, then information is an important thing to give to the player so that they can solve the room and get a 100% effective brawl going!
Excellent work!
The food fight was really fun to watch, but there wasn't much to do on the gameplay side (maybe that's what you were looking for, idk). But the post processing effects are a bit too much imo and the framerate (at least for me) was really low, maybe due to the webgl build idk. Overall it's a pretty good game 👍
Nice audiovisuals.
The gameplay - well, not too much of it to be honest, you just press mouse twice and watch it escalate quickly. Still it's fun to watch, but after one or two levels it get's repetitive.
Still, one of the more polished games in this jam, congratulations!
Food fights are amazing as long as no food is wasted, and given that this is a game, i'm loving going all in here :D did you guys take any inspiration from overcooked? Everything burning reminds me of it. Maybe I'm just really bad at the game and end up playing it the way you guys have it here haha. I'd love it if you guys could try out our game as well if you have the time to rate it. Thank you :D
Didn't read the description before starting so I stared at the banquet for a while... but once I read it and knew what to do I had a big ol' laugh! Don't think I've seen a similar idea developed (and so well polished too!) really enjoyed playing this game and was surprised to see that it even has multiple maps. Really goes to show that a simple idea can greatly shine by its presentation. Congrats! fantastic game for the jam :)
What a great idea lmao. And everything is nicely polished too. This is now the second game that I give 5 stars in all categories
This is the best score I can get! Nice work, very creative idea. This actually feels kind of like a puzzle game! I'm not sure if the people always throw the food the same direction depending on where they get hit from but it could be a fascinating strategy game if you could mouse over each person and see who they "dislike" based on who upset them at dinner and therefore who they'd be more likely to throw their food at. Then you could work out who would be the best person to start with.
Very funny ! Art are awesome. Music and Sounds are perfect ! You have found the definition of mess ! Good Job !
A really cool game. Love the art and the gameplay was pretty fun!
Cool idea! It was fun to cause chain reactions throughout this game! I think if there was some tutorial on how different people attack it would help the player make more strategic decisions!
Good job!
(also if would be cool if you could check out my game too :) https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-6/rate/1176871)
Very interesting concept, it would've been nice to be able to do more than just watch. Maybe a different screen, instead of the "you loose", when you actually reach 100% would be nice.
