I had trouble at the beginning since I didn’t know how to attack. I think you should add an animation for attacking. But overall, I think it’s a great game!

In what way does your game fit the theme?
After the fourth stage chaos event might start.
During the chaos event, the turn-based game no longer have any turns. It is just chaos
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, except the music/sound effect, which I own.

Cool game, had a lot of fun with it! Really love the art and the animations are very cute. Nice work!
The game is good, it has good sound and graphics, and is overall quite polished. As other commenters mentioned, it could have had more animations to make certain interactions more obvious. I liked the upgrade system, and the chaos event is fun, but it rarely happens, and all the other time the game isn't chaotic at all (which is nothing wrong, however, it doesn't fit the theme 100% of the time)
I definitely recommend giving this game a try!
Cool old style idea! I had trouble first that it wasn't obvious that we can attack, as there is not much in animation during that and sound needs to get known that there is different when we take damage and when we attack enemy. It's bit hard to navigate in rooms as well, as there is not much differences in colors but it's efficient still.
This game is quite an interesting one. The pixel art is very nice, and I like the theme of dungeon of chaos, sounds very intriguing. The sound are quite good, but the music and especially its beginning is very weird. The rooms also feel very empty many times, and the enemies have an interesting AI, though it is pretty easy to avoid. Then suddenly chaos starts and enemies start moving around randomly, which I guess is a creative take on the theme, but it feels more like you had a game idea and just added the theme because it needed to be related to the jam. Also, it feels very rushed in some places, mainly the menu and the download file, and seeing that it was made only in 3 days and was submitted 17 seconds before the deadline, I can see why. It's still a pretty fun game with a good amount of potential.
love the game! more the music and sfx!!
try to make it easier for me pleassseee hahaha
Loved the game....Cool audio ,graphics and and overall game design....Do check out my chaotic scifi fps shooter game
Great graphics and gameplay! It is a little too hard in my opinion, I could never get through the second floor and I sometimes go damaged for seemingly no reason. I was standing on an empty floor there were no enemies nearby and I got killed instantly.
Liked the style. The enemy gets too powerful and upgrades are not affordable.
But the way character moves is funny :D
The idea of the game is outstanding. All the RNG elements are very cool and the fact that is turn based is really unique. If I would point out something, is the fact that the enemies can attack you diagonally wich is kinda broken and the chaos mode is just unfair. Nonetheless, this game is great!
Thanks for playing the game and thanks for the feedback!
The game is not really balanced at all. You need to get specific power-ups to clear the other stages. I am glad that you liked it. I also wished that I had time to create the first level (or two) as a tutorial level that teachers players how to play.
I will try to update the game after the Jam ends!
Although I don't like 2D games, this game is really good and different from others. Good job.
I really like the screen where you can buy stuff like healh boost between stages. Animation are really nice and overall this game is great! You have a big chance to win.
