Interesting interpretation of the theme!

Interesting interpretation of the theme! I love how unique your concept is.

As much as I like the concept, I couldn't help but feel disengaged the deeper I got into it. It started to feel like there wasn't much to change in the headlines, and the changes weren't having much of an impact outside of the phone calls talking about the ratings. If you were to continue this, I'd love to see you explore what effects the headlines have on the world around you. Maybe it affects the people in the workplace? Your loved ones? You've got a lot of awesome potential with this!

For a one person team this is a fantastic job. Well done!

Definitely one of the more unique entries I've seen for this jam.  Also one of the few I've seen where you are actually the one causing the chaos.  And definitely the only one I've seen where you blatantly don't care, you just continue sipping your drink while the world falls apart around you.

I do have to say it was a bit weird because the headlines I was actually changing seemed to be a bit weird in how the game interpreted them.  There was never too much clarification on which articles were more chaotic vs others, or whether I was going too far and losing rating for a specific article etc..

I feel like more of a per actual report on rating, incoming etc. would have been nice.  Just to make it a bit clearer on which articles were the issue and which ones were... somehow going absolutely crazy.

Another thing I do have to say that was mostly just a mystery is the life expenses, they seemed to just endlessly go up week after week without any indication as to why they were going up.  Which left me very confused on how much money I needed to make, along with how much the rating actually related to the amount of money I made.

Overall though, except for those few issues it's an interesting overall experience, with some nice visuals, and it seems a very purposeful art direction, especially on all those articles.  Incredible visuals for this very reputable magazine, no issues there.

didnt play a game like this for a long time, interesting concept

Interesting that little change of words can create chaos just like in the real world...

super I like your game, if you time rate my also

this game looks amazing and is really fun to play. I'd only like some information about what the readers think about the articles because they apparently influence the score. Also the bgm is extremely unnerving.

Nicely polished game, pretty repetitive which I guess is the point. Not sure where the theme fits in as there's no world example of the Chaos you created with the headlines? Perhaps a news report on the desktop with in world news about how everyone's now throwing out their seafood because you put on the newspaper page that it was unhealthy?

Excellent visuals, and a very well-polished experience with menus, dialog, visuals for each publication etc.

The gameplay was tedious.

The music loop was too short and grating.

I think the satire/social commentary (and theme) would have been stronger if the player could see more direct consequences of their chaotic actions.

First of all, graphics and the concept 10/10, and I praise you for not making another bullet hell. However, as a lot of people have mentioned, the gameplay becomes boring too fast. Still, I really enjoyed the game and even when I wanted to finish it, I couldn't.

I think what it lacks is more dynamism in the gameplay, and a little extra sounds (rain, office conversations, footsteps, some sound when talking on the phone, etc). GL <3

Interesting concept! I dig these "boring" chaos games! I love the idea behind this game, but it's a little slow with not a whole lot of feedback on what you do

This game looks really great, and some of the headline choices were pretty funny. The BGM was really annoying, I had to turn it off after just a couple minutes of listening to it. It also doesn't really fit the theme in my opinion. Still, impressive that you made something so nice looking, good job

Amazing game! The only wrong thing is that i dont see much chaos

This game is so polished, I love it! It reminds me a bit of Papers Please. I can see you put a lot of attention to graphics, dialogue and general interface.

One little criticism is the background music, it is really annoying after some time (too repetitive).

Loved it. I really loved how casual the main character was about all this he was printing. Great concept, extremely satirical, oozing charm, Loved it. I'd love to hear what you think of my entry.

Cool concept, but the soundtrack loop is unbearable, I think I dropped mid-playthrough because of it — it literally drains my soul and makes me feel like my mental health is declining slowly.

Otherwise it's a really solid entry!
