Fantastic game, amazing entry. There was so much to do in this game, the difficulty was always increasing but the reward payouts like the turret made it possible to continue tackling the mini-games whilst having various nightmares! Would have liked to have seen a little bit more story-telling within the game, either via cutscenes or an opening sequence, however as this was just a weekend jam that may be asking too much!
Really enjoyed the concept and I think it has a lot of potential to be a fully fleshed out game, especially aimed at children. Well done, you should be very proud!

Great job! I love the art style and the multitasking is really fun!

thanks! I'm glad you had a good time :)

This game is probably the cutest game I've played of the games I've rated. I love the different mini games, and none of them are so hard that I, a bad multitasker, can't do them while also shooting the monster drawings. Great game, good job to both of you!

Thanks for playing, it was awesome to watch you play our game on your stream :) Anyways, thanks for the feedback, we're glad you had fun :D

This one's very fun!

I love the mental strain of managing a minigame while trying to aim and fire, a great concept that could very easily be expanded with additional minigames. The inclusion of a shop was a great touch as well, allowing me to employ some defensive strategies to assist as the night went on.

If I had one thing that could be improved, it's the incentive to progress the day. As it is, it's possible to farm for money while the difficulty is low, and ignore the minigames. While this is the optimal strategy for ensuring success, it's much less fun than engaging with the systems that are there actively.

Aesthetically, the nightmares are charming and well designed, and the different UI for minigames contrasts really nicely with the dim background.

Excellent work!

Thanks for playing! You're not the first to tell us about how beneficial is to ignore the minigames, and I totally agree with you, we'll will definitely think about this through again. If completing minigames was what rewarded the player instead of killing the monsters, maybe it would make more sense. Anyways, thanks for the feedback, it really helps , and we're glad you had a good time :)

Well done!

Everything from the eresers in the jumping game to the paper and the monsters fits the game and I also really like the aestetics. The variety in the smaller gamemodes are also fun, my favourite was the pong game.

I found it a bit difficult to do the tasks and shoot the monsters, but this also made the game for fun, solid game for only 72 hours :D

Developer

Thanks for playing :) Beeing kind of difficult to shoot and do tasks at the same time is exactly what we were aiming for, we wanted to do a multi-tasking tower defense basically. Anyways, thanks for the feedback, we are really glad you had a good time :)

I liked it a lot! Very fun, hopefully I will get through the night one day. Maybe make some visual indication of how close you are to the end besides a slider? Change the color or the background in some way?

Developer

Thanks for playing, it was awesome to watch you play it on your live stream :) As for the slider, I do agree that the game progression is not totally clear to the player, so we'll definitely think about some new way to indicate how close the player is to the end. Anyways, thanks for the feedback, we're glad you had fun :)

Very fun, a lot of cool mechanics, but way too long

Developer

Thanks for playing :) As for the game beeing too long, you're not the first one to tell us that, but I think that the lenght of the game is totally related to how fast the player understand the gameplay, I have seen people that finished the game super fast, and others that took some time. That's definitely not what we want, we want our game to have a good and constant pace to all players, so that's an issue we'll definitely take a look into in the post jam version. Anyways, thanks for the feedback, i'm glad you had fun ;)

Interesting game with a lot of content

Pros:

- Nice art

- Very intuitive and addictive gameplay

- Good music

- A lot of minigames

Cons:

- There's only one - typing minigame. I get that minigames should distract from monsters but this is the only minigame that require to drop a mouse and stop shooting so eventually I just skip it. It would be nice to have words set for typing game which use only letters from left side of a keyboard so you can type and shoot

Overall, very good!

I don't agree, the typing was the best one, the rythm one is the worst. Maybe because, as a writer, I type fast and typing the word took me only 1 sec but with the rythm one, you need to press the right key and wait for the right time.

Developer

Hey thanks for playing ! I agree that some words are kind of long so it gets really hard to type it , the word "fear" for example is really easy to type, because it only uses words that are on the left so its possible to type it with your left hand only. But in words like "nightmare" you need both hands to type the word, so it's really hard to type and defend as the same time. But like the comment above , we have heard from some players that the typing wasn't the problem at all, but some other minigame, so I think that the fact that each player has an opinion about which is the hardest just tells us that the mini games are kind of balanced. Anyways, we'll definitely re-evaluate the words that show up in this minigame, because maybe some words are indeed too long for some players. Thanks for the feedback, we are glad you had a good time :)
