Great game. The control is a little bit confusing. But I love your art and your design.

Great time.  A surprising amy of control with just one key, clever!

Love the take on one button! art and sound are great, but the controls are a bit frustrating. I can't quite put my finger on why though, I feel like there is some latency or something

Amazing game, The sprites and musics are awsome, but a little bit frustating sometimes, perharps adding coyote jump and jump buffering would improve it. Thank you by makin this game anyway.

I would be so grateful if you give me some feedback about my game: https://itch.io/jam/boundless-game-jam/rate/1104134.

There actually is coyote jump, it's just that it's probably very subtle and you can't tell it's there, but without it a lot of the jumps wouldn't have been possible - I'm not sure if jump buffering is needed in the game, you only control everything with one button, and it's already a bit difficult to manage, so it's unlikely the player will need buffering.

Nice idea. The controls are a tad bit frustrating. I know that's meant to be the point. But this is the bad frustrating, not the good one, If you know what I mean. Nice idea though!

Great game, love the art and the level design. I found some bugs, sometimes te arrow was facing one direction and than it goes the opposite way. But overall it is a great work and a solid game, congratulations!

Some levels have the character facing the wrong direction at start. While the mechanics/gameplay were well done, the controls were fairly difficult to operate. Wonderful artwork and level design. I also love that there are buttons to collect.

Recommendations: The player acceleration can make it hard to control the character. I would recommend removing it or increasing the acceleration to max speed quicker (which might require a lower max speed). While I know this was intended to put several controls on a single button, changing directions and jumping was fairly difficult. I would almost get rid of the ability to manually change directions and instead make walls redirect the character. This would require a lot of redesign of levels, but I think it would make the game feel better.

Thanks for feedback, but major disagreement on "bounce from wall to wall" part - the game was made with full emulation of regular controls in mind, plus I don't want to give up flip controls! I think the problem is more in latency and flipping indicators, rather than the mechanic itself. The idea was to make a regular input game with one input - not to mesh in regular controls into a one input convention!

Surprisingly functional. Buttons are very responsive and easy to play. Your brain farts sometimes while you change controls but after all it works amazingly well. Visuals are great very easy to read everything. Music is also great on its own but for the game it might be a bit too energic if you ask me, I got little stressed from it. Overall great job guys, has huge potential!

I think it's a fine game overall, a really fine one. The concept of a spacebar as the only control's interesting, and it lead to some moments where I really had to think about my movement, but it also lead to frustrating moments where I just couldn't get the jump, or where I kept dying. I think that can be remedied with either a looser control or perhaps less hazard? At least not at the beginning.

Overall, with the music and visuals in mind, as well as the bubbly atmosphere, I liked it!

Really fun game! The art is absolutely beautiful and the music is a banger. If I could give some feedback, the movement is extremely stiff and lacks momentum making the game more frustrating to play. The level designs have been really well thought out and I love the different worlds you go into. Really good entry.

Great game!! Gameplay wise it's a bit hard IMO, but graphics and audio are great!

The visuals and audio are super great and the game looks pretty polished.  The gameplay concepts were creative, but sometimes it was frustratingly hard.  Overall, this was a super cool game and I'm glad I got a chance to play it!

Very creative, good art and music! great job!

Really cool game! Awesome art and really inventive concept. Agree with Bagel's criticisms, I think the gameplay was really good but the controls felt a bit stiff at times and the momentum when moving made a lot of jumps really hard to do, and more frustrating hard rather than fun hard. Other than that, really awesome and unique game!!
