I really like the idea of this game, but I think with these powerups and traps it goes a bit into puzzle-like game, so it would make more sense to control a player with like moving the mouse in direction you want to go in or arrow keys(if you want to continue with puzzle aproach), for now it's just fine.

The gameplay is tedious at times, and the game itself doesn't explain a lot about its mechanics. Took me a while to realize levers are proximity triggered, and then in the next level, the levers were abandoned. I think that the game doesn't fully explore the possiblities the setup has given, and I feel like there's a lot of room for improvement regarding the level design. The visuals are nice, but the music is repetetive, and combined with monotonous gameplay with long waiting times it serves up a lot of irritation. The thing I'm least pleased with is how continous the rotation is. The levels usually tend to make the player go in a straight line, so it would make sense to give the player a tiny freeze window in which they can squeeze in another move in the same direction. It would greatly pace up the gameplay and make it feel less like a chore.
Great concept, great artwork ( I love the little knight!), and fairly well polished! I really liked the powerups and the fact that you can only hold one at a time makes for a very puzzle approach!
Recommendations: Perhaps lock the player character's facing for a short period of time when the player presses. There was a lot of dead time and I think having the ability to move multiple times in a single direction would have been useful (especially in those straight paths). Alternatively, if the levels emphasized clockwise rotation to allow 2 movements at a time (with a loop, coming out of the other side), it would decrease the down time.
The game is really fun and the art style is nice. i love some of the sound effects as well. Great game and awsome puzzle design
This is a fun game! The rotating is a cool idea and the puzzles are fun. I think that sometimes the audio was a little bit annoying, for example with the lever and doors. The super high pitched and loud sounds are somewhat unpleasant. But that's very nitpicky and I really enjoyed this game overall!
Love the game the art and audio was quite good for a mechanic like this nice game though. but if you dont mind playing my game to for some feedback
Seen this mechanic several times, but still fun nonetheless! Loved the art, and the music sounded great too! Could you play my game as well? https://itch.io/jam/boundless-game-jam/rate/1104146
cool idea and super cute! Personally, this would fit the theme better if you used a keyboard key, instead of the mouse button (like space). Using the mouse button is kinda a cop-out in my opinion because it can be used to just press any button on the screen. Overall good job!
I'd appreciate it if you could play/rate my game as well! :)
Liked the idea and the art was super cute! I liked a lot the level design too, great job
