It could be much more fun if there would be some level progression. Yet, 101~ connections for me.
Keep it up! :)

I managed around 63 connections! Really unique entry I thought. My strat was to spam shooting. Maybe some cool items could be added that shield your connections.
Love the concept, unlike anything I've played so far! I would love to see this maybe incorporated into stages, like what if you have to make connections match a picture or hold something? Hope to see you continue work on it
Interesting concept! I couldn't figure out what the strategy was supposed to be, though. Since you can't die, I just tried going all over the screen to make lines, but there wasn't really a way to prevent them from being destroyed, since you can only protect one part of the screen with bullets at a time.
Interesting, very abstract game, though since the bullet emitter is static you can cheese the game by keeping your mouse on it and continually shooting
I eventually got all the possible connections at once this way
Very fun game to play! It could use some more stakes or goals to reach to make it more enjoyable. Great experience overall. Great job and congrats :)
Cool concept for this jam's theme and smooth gameplay! I cheesed the game pretty easily though and had no problem to connect all points in just 1 minute ^^
I wish there was some kind of a greater goal or a certain amount of points that would be required to win ;-)
Reminded me of a cross between Pacman and asteroids!? Interesting idea.
This reminds me a bit of the classic arcade game Qix, but with the addition of a gun that spices things up a bunch. I also really like the use of a grid here to add some structure to the playfield, might be cool if there were bonus points given to the player for making closed squares/rectangles. Music is also a nice mood setter!
Interesting premise! I'm always a fan of a 2d shooter in a jam; feels nice to just blow some stuff up. Creating and defending your nodes gives the player a nice objective other than just "kill all the things", too.
The aiming and shooting controls feel pretty good. I'm glad that you made the gun auto-fire. Since there's no disadvantage to just holding down the mouse button the entire time, I wonder if it might make sense to just have the gun fire by itself the entire time and just let the player aim?
I think that the only thing I'm really missing is an ending; a score doesn't really tell me a lot if the game just keeps going forever. Something as simple as a timer that ends the game after 60 seconds/etc. could work well here.
Nice submission!
