Description
classic rock / power metal with heavy vgm and classical influences, using a variety of instruments. what each track represents is pretty self-explanatory (it's the title of the track)

Message from the artist:
I know I went overboard. I'm sorry. Give me a chance?

Theme

a journey to remember.
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
It's centered around the idea of the hero's journey / elementary pyramid plot structure, with rising tension, a climax, and an ultimate victory. The picture gave me fantasy vibes, so I went with a FFXV-esque approach, blending traditional fantasy instruments with more modern synth variants.

Solid work! Catching some FF vibes indeed. Nice soundscapes, good mixing.

The amount of tracks is impressive.

Wwow. Variability of this soundtrack is incredible!

Holy smokes, this is an ALBUM!  From one apologizer to another – my humble belief is you shouldn't apologize for hard work and ambition! It paid off into a really diverse array of tracks.   Love your sense of theme, and your traditional+synth style.  Bravo!

Wow, what an incredible amount of work, and thank you for including such a thorough explanation on your page. It really helped to follow along in all of the tracks.

Some parts of this I'm really digging, other parts, the harmony just kind of loses me. But I can't tell if it's because there's something missing from the harmony or if I just haven't studied enough jazz harmony -_-

I'm really stumped about melody number two. It sounds sooo familiar to me but I can't figure out what it's reminding me of. If you were inspired by an existing melody please let me know what it was, or else I will just scratch my head over this for a while.

Really well done incorporating your themes so thoroughly. This was a fun listen.

Which parts lose you? I'd like to know so I can improve upon them in the future.

I didn't have any theme in mind as a reference for the second melody, but it uses a variation of a really common rhythm (two dotted quarter notes followed by a quarter note, commonly called a "pop clave" or "half clave")...I used that rhythm a lot in the accompaniment sections, but that's one of the rare places where it's explicitly in a melody. (One of the most obvious songs that uses that rhythm, and the one I use as an example, is "Wait for It" from Hamilton.)

the melody i'm talking about is the melody in your Options track. The pop clave is there, but so many submissions have used it already (including mine) that i don't really notice it anymore.

but it's really just the melody there that's ringing a bell. (this section, transposed to a minor, if it makes sense: a g f e d e, f e, d e e f e f g a) i've been listening to a lot of legend of zelda music lately so maybe there's something similar in there and my brain is grabbing onto it.

well, i'll let you know if i identify it, and i'll try and get back to you later about the harmonies.

I'm in awe at just how much you managed to put together, this is a full length album's worth of music! And it's really good music too, there's some fantastic jazz fusion jams (Town and Field (Heroic) were particular favourites). I love the rhythms used to keep every piece moving forward.

I don't think you went overboard at all, this was fantastic to listen to!

You have a full Gamecube-era adventure packed into this submission. Thanks so much for sharing!

The menu music is an ABSOLUTE jam! Getting so many Wii music vibes from this I love it. Like I've been saying in many other submissions, guitar and orchestra is a weakness of mine and your boss battles really nailed that combo! What a better way to close this story with the credits music too! Great OST! <3

Wow, a lot of different tracks. I love it! It's soothing to ears. I think it's one of the best soundtracks I've heard on this jam :) The only disadventage- music is a bit monotonous sometimes, but it's extremely cool and chill! ♥ Good job!

Hey, thanks! Any specific tracks in mind? I'd love to know how I can do better

For example the background in the first track. I had a feel that the piano in the lower frequencies is the same for the whole track and it stuck in my head a bit :) But I like your work ♥

This could make a really good game music pack! Has many different themes for different areas and encounters. kudos for the amount of tracks you did!

Very cool arrangemets and variations, bop score

Many musics composed on the same theme, here. Interesting variations that are perfectly suited to each situation for which they were designed. Excellent idea also to offer the midi versions which allow to appreciate the detail of the proposed work, and its reworked rendering with a sound bank. Some musics are a little short sometimes, but everytime do the job.
