This was fun! It was quite difficult for me but I got it. Makes sense with weight and is logical!

I had a similar idea with less physics, but i butchered mine. The simple display of velocities, and the chaos inside with changing gravity and acceleration of boxes if the rocket thrusters are on, flight direction... perfect, one time almost went back to space. Congrats.

I really like this use of the limitation. Quite an unusual approach. I really like how the rocket and its contents respond to gravity and the thruster physics; it felt authentic. I finally figured out how the thrusters work (lol, it took me a few tries), but even so, I was not able to land the craft.

The graphics and animation look good. Sound would be nice, though. Even a little bit goes a long way.

Cool idea messing with gravity as you go down and having to control the ship at different stations from within. The thrusters felt backwards to me. I thought activating a left thruster would rotate me right, but once I got that worked it out it was fun!

This is a pretty good game, I really enjoy the idea of controlling the rocket from within using the buttons. I did find myself optimizing some of the fun out of the game by just standing near the bottom of the rocket and moving a single box around to control the rocket. It could be interesting to add some sort of motivation to move around the rocket more.

Great game and art! :-)

Kenney is to thank for the art 😉

Great use of limitation you did here! making all that physics must be complex

Developer

Thanks! Not really, Unity does most of the heavy lifting. The difficult part was to calibrate forces, especially since the gravity changes as you get closer to landing. If you're interested in the source here it is:  https://gitlab.com/d-bucur/minijam75

Heh- that was a frantic few minutes.

Very original concept there :D

WOW I mean really WOW I had really hard time thinking what to do when everything started to go up and down but when I understood the thing It was a whole lot of fun to play it!! 5 Stars from me ;)

Really fun and challenging ! i was able to land on my third try

Developer

Thanks! It's good it 'only' took you 3 tries to make it. I think I didn't explain the objective well enough in the beginning

it was really fun idea and gameplay was well done. It lacked some music tho.

I was really Confused at the beginning but after that it was really cool and a neat idea.

Thanks! I tried to add some UI elements to help understand what is going on , but I'm pretty bad at UX. The velocity indicator at the bottom right should be the main focus
