Nice game. It's a kind of minimalist Portal. I like your take on the theme, it's uncommon. Character is perhaps too small for the levels. The simplicity is there, even in the engine ! Great work.
I'm going to say the game's shortcomings first.
I've died and fell many times because of movement. I move too far when I try to stop.
And at one part, there is a softlock which forces you to restart the game if fell into.
Other then that, This game is amazing!
I love the way you have to store momentum in between the two sections to reach higher areas.
Really creative!
The game feels like a puzzle, which I think is great too.
Nice game. :)
thank you very much for your feedback! ^^
i'll be sure to fix all of that in the post-jam release
Great game, I liked the way the game handles the topic as well as the monochrome look to it, controls are a little slippery in the air but nothing that put me off it. Good job :)
could you be a little more specific? what wasn't very good about them? :0
okay, thanks for clarifying!
I love the concept and that sound effect when you hit the spikes sound so funny to me. Good job! :)
I like the monochrome colour scheme. Good game :)
The game is not loading :(
hmm that's weird. try another browser maybe? :0
This was a unique idea! I enjoyed the platforming and cool split world levels, it was fun to get to understand the concept and then was cool seeing you mess around with the idea in the later levels. I also liked how it sounds when you repeatedly bash against the spikes in that level with the spikes walls haha. Good job!
This was just the right level of hard for me, great level design and the concept of switching between two worlds is pretty unique and fits the topic perfectly.
Great game!
The fact that you slide around like you're on ice after a jump is very frustrating. Other than that it's a pretty cool game.
nice concept and progression. with a sound track it would be a really solid game
if you don't mind me asking: did you mean to say "needs more sound effects"? because the game has some sound effects and i just wanna make sure because you know, maybe something went wrong and you couldn't hear them :0
sorry my bad. i had sound muted lol. the sound effects suit the game nicely. but a soundtrack might add to the game but i know they can be hard to make in a game jam. well done
Pretty cool concept, and good difficluty curve
thank you!
Interesting mechanic here, some creative use of the dual screen and conservation of momentum to create unique puzzles. Nice work. :)
thank you so much for your nice words ^^
Probably try to put more power into the player ;)
yeah, i'm definitely going to do that for the post-jam version. thank you for your time! ^^
Really cool concept, like it a lot
The controls are a little floaty, which makes platforming kind of hard.
Other than that it's a good game.
thanks a lot for your feedback, i'm glad you liked it!
Really like this unique concept ! Works with the theme really well and is fun to play ! It is really hard though, so maybe make it a little easier. Nice job!
thanks for your feedback! i'll make the game a bit easier in the post jam build ^^
Really like your core game idea here, good job!
One thing I would say is that the platforms require really precise controls to land on since they are spaced in such a way that there's only one height you can land on them at. It can get quite frustrating at the part where you need to jump up a few in some stairs as there's so little margin for error. I'd recommend either making the jump force a little higher, or just moving the platforms around a bit to make it more forgiving.
But nice job overall, it's a fun little game.
thank you for your feedback! ^^
You're most welcome!
