The music is way too loud but it’s pretty good
-
When you press a button in the pause menu it shoots as well which is weird
-
‘E’ is for crouching and picking up items feels odd
-
Good visual feedback

After the first reload the gun ammo count gets messed up: https://gyazo.com/970faf6012836c14b5b3ef07a6f9c977

The minimap is nice but I think there should be a better indicator of where to go. I got quite lost
Well, others mention it doesn't fit the theme, but i read on the description and play the tutorial, and kind of make some sense. Throw the powerup boxes on the pit to become stronger, kinda stronger together with the boxes...
Anyway, the game is fun, even without that thing. My first play-through was without the powerups, cause i can't grab them with E. But then i saw in the tutorial that you found a bug (guess you run out of time to fix it, that's why u put it there) about pause with the box. So I suppose i paused the game and that's what breaks it.
I play it again with the powerups and it's fun. That wireframe box is the devil! Constant shoot without reloading.. damn! Really hard on small places. But managed to destroy them.
I reach a point when it seems the scene repeats forever. The level 2? (the one in a closed space, with 2 wireframe boxes on the map2) I did it like 4 or 5 times, and it's always the same, so I exit the game.
As I mention earlier, the game is still fun.
Nice work. Congratulations!
Most people already said it doesn't fit the theme and I agree...
However it was quite fun. Good job!
I really like the gun model in this game, I don't really see how it fits the theme however but it is a good game none the less, quite buggy but that's expected with a game jam game so good job :)
That's an awesome game. I really like the movement of the player, and it's really fun to play.
Really cool game, but I felt that the game didn't fit very well the theme. But in the overall, great job!
Nice that you made a 3D game. However, I felt like the game didn't really fit the theme. It seems like the powerups give benefits individually rather than together. Good job overall though.
Not too bad of a game! Sometimes if you hold the firing button, you'll end up shooting more than 5 bullets, which might be a bug (idk). Ended up dying to the red block that shot lazers, so that was unexpected. All in all, nice job!
Summary:
I went in thinking it was a bad game because of the game description on its main page. Also graphics.
Things I liked:
- It had a tutorial
- Music
- Minimap
- Gameplay was engaging
Things I didn't like:
- Tutorial literally says "E" to grab, but when I press it, I crouch LOL (didn't see pickups yet).
- UI mismatch
- Had no clue how to use "powerups" in the beginning (eventually, I threw them in the middle)
So-so:
- Lots of bugs, but it's a game jam, so understandable
Closing:
I ended up dying after not figuring out how to kill the shooting red block thing. Overall though, I ended up playing a lot longer than I thought I would, so nice job! Clean up the issues and you had a start to nice project:)
This game is pretty fun, although a bit buggy. I like the gun asset and the geometric shape enemies, simple yet a good theme. The mini map also proved to be useful and made traversing the map easy.
I love the gameplay, and the idea of giving a general view of the map, well done!
Fun game, it is a bit hard to figure out what to do with the pickups (I know now), but it was fun nevertheless. Good work!
It was fun shooting stuff. I wish I had some control over my reload though.
Had some fun with this one! While likely not intentional I had a lot of fun launching through the air using the knockback of the gun. Main problem I had was reloading not always working. Other than that though the enemies do a little too much damage and I was expecting to find more of those upgrade boxes.
