Great aesthetic, I really like how you implement the limitation into the mechanic and love the music.

Congrats for finishing the game and the Jam!

While rough around the edges (including some of the moon logic) I really liked this. Stylistic and interesting, with some nice atmosphere. Great work!

edit: what shaders did you use? They're perfect, along with the dithering!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback. I used a heavily modified version of this shader so that i could properly use it with 1-bit textures and to make it work on browsers.

I really like the idea and the ambient, the lights and the music, maybe the drag and drop mechanic feels weird sometimes, and the camera system reduce the inmersion.

But good job, i enjoyed!

Very cool game! The only complain that i have is that the drag and drop mechanic. Idk.. it feels a bit weird.  But the sense of exploration, getting to know what each thing does and with what makes this game concept really cool. Artstyle and music are also great! Good job!

Gorgeous art style, it makes the atmosphere all the more creepy and mysterious. I defeated King Lettuce, but didn't manage to get past the fire to the right. Could you give me a tip to solve that puzzle? :)

Developer(+1)

ill try not to give things away too much but just before u fight king lettuce theres a part where u move a lettuce out the way in a fridge, behind the lettuce is a carton of milk. The way to get past the fire revolves around using that carton of milk in a particular way..... maybe using it on something in the environment?

Intriguing and fun! The colour palette really adds to the slightly unsettled 'oddness' about the game world which I really liked. Ps. Death to the Cabbage King.

Yo’

Really fun game, the concept is fascinating, and the music and sfx fitted the atmosphere great, the visuals took a little getting used to and sometimes didn’t really convey meaning.

I got the secret ending after defeating the king cabbage, I don’t know how many endings are there now.

The only part that didn’t quite click with me was using the fork with food as a bridge, I got the fork no problem, I saw the steak and naturally I stabbed it with he fork, it’s almost second nature by now, but then I tried using that fork with food because it was the only thing left to try to cross the gap, I was baffled that it worked, there was no indication that it would outside of being the only thing left to try, I don’t know if there was a clue or indication that I missed but this one part felt a bit forced or unnatural; everything else went buttery smooth.

Thanks for the feedback! It's one of those things that sounds like it makes more sense than it actually does. I'll keep that in mind next time we tackle a puzzle game. Glad you enjoyed it.

There are 3 endings, a secret ending, good ending and bad ending.

nice!!! I like that style

Stylish, minimalist design. Clever puzzles. Very original. Great use of the limitation.

One thing I will say is that I was yearning for the ability to move the camera. Having to walk towards the camera while pushing around a giant cabbage or trying not to fall to my doom could get frustrating.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I did end up realizing that some parts were annoying without the ability to move the camera, but by the time i did it was already kinda late into the jam and i didn't want to risk changing it by then

This is what a game jam entry should be! Simple, insane, but fun! I am proud to say I beat the Cabbage King.
