I like the exploration aspect to this, seeing what different objects do in different contexts. It reminds me of the GROW games, but a little more open.

Nice little game. I like it :).

There is no real feedback when the player act, except to see something appear on the map, and it's hard to understand what we have done. You can add some SFX to solve this (or effects).

Finally, I think it lacks background music, for the atmosphere ^^.

@clemonades Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it! It was my first time doing pixel art on such a small scale (on any scale, actually) but I'm pleased with the results!

Awesome game, very entertaining! Even with so few pixels the art was done well enough that I could tell what everything was, nice job!

Really cute little game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Low Rez Jam games, if you would like to take a look :)

@JackOatley Thanks for the feedback and screenshot! It's good to see how far people actually manage to get!

@okaybenji Will do as soon as I get my hands on a mac!

This is a nifty little game, I really like it. It would be good it you could scale the window though, it's such a small space. Sometimes I seem to place buildings on top of each other... In a game that's rather experimental like this that can be very confusing, as you can't tell if it's an upgrade or it's all gone wrong. Also, sorry to say this but the particles you're generating out the chimney of the stone building aren't to the 64x64 res, though I assume this is accidental. Anyway, here's my kingdom (one of them), they keep becoming a bit of a mess: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/33776055/petkingdom.png

Looks very cool! Let me know if you release a version for Mac :]
