Congrats on your first game jam, and congrats on finishing a game! It crashed once for me on the main menu, when I hit space to jump (I think), but beyond that, no technical issues.

The music for the bow hitting the duck didn't seem right, almost as if it were clipping. It was fun exploring, even if it was a bit short.

Well done!

thank you so much! I havent seen it crash for me yet, so I don’t know what to do there. There may be some bugs, last time I updated it was too long ago, and I have an newer version on the computer. I am glad you liked the exploring, which was the part where I was going for! I hope to improve on my pace of building levels, where I see I could improve immensely. Anyways, thanks for playing my game!!

I found your secret, and the music you're using is in fact public domain, so don't fret:

It's a good choice, too, and really helps shape the atmosphere of the game.

But in the game, it's hard to figure out what to do, and it's not obvious what you can interact with or even click on... I think with some polish to these game play elements  would help the experience a lot. As always, I imagine with more time, you would have been able to work through these issues. Good effort overall!

thank you so much! haha, i tried to find out and i didnt want to ruin a video for some small thing as that. i see that the gameplay in the "story" is not not obvious. thanks so much for feedback!!

Same issue

no, i dont think so. its kinda tricky at first, but there should be some subtle clues as to where to go. you can also use your mouse to click on the screen at any text that may be there :) that should get you pass first scene, and if you mean the menu, you can walk to the water. Thanks for playing my game!!

With Gymnopedie No.1 playing in the background, this game felt relaxing. At first, I thought it was some commentary on suicide or drowning, and the going through of old homes looking for a key, it all feels very surreal and I like it. I think if you develop further on elements like this, you could come up with a very cool concept of storytelling. Other than that, there isn’t much to do in the game, which might be due to the time limit of the game jam, but my suggestion would be to either add more mechanics to the game (it can be something simple like testing the player’s perception or deduction), and/or focus on improving the atmosphere/theme. Great effort nonetheless! I enjoyed it.

thank you so much! im quite  new to the game dev scene. The limitation of the game was mostly caused by myself getting really burned out, i really hope I can improve the game. Your feedback is really good, thanks!
