I am glad you liked the exploring, which was the part where I was going for! I hope to improve on my pace of building levels, where I see I could improve immensely. no, i dont think so. its kinda tricky at first, but there should be some subtle clues as to where to go. you can also use your mouse to click on the screen at any text that may be there :) that should get you pass first scene, and if you mean the menu, you can walk to the water. Thanks for playing my game!!
