I was really eager to play this one through the month since it kind of targets my weak spot of potion brewing & I had a lot of fun with it! The biggest hurdle I think I would run into was the click & drag mechanics being a bit slow for a trackpad. Honestly it would have been helpful to have a kind of 'toggle' mode where you could just click things to assemble them or possibly just have a bit more time with customers in that regard. The other hitch I had (though I have no idea how to tackle it) is just that the fusions felt a little unintuitive? For the most part I was just interested in seeing what came up, but by the time there were 5-6 ingredients I was thinking it'd be super helpful to have a kind of rhyme or reason to how they worked, even if it was just color based. Some of them did! but for example I had a long line on the last day when someone asked for a light orange potion i hadn't made yet, the color & mix looked intuitive enough between the mer eggs & the catgirl (which the mixture even made sense for) but then when i tried the combo it was Wildly wrong & I had to scramble to see what else I hadn't tried. The worst exp I had with this exact thing was actually the second to last day where I just could not figure out the combo whatsoever and lost 4-5 clients, but since the game doesn't quite punish you, I didn't take it too hard. Just sharing my exp!
At any rate I like this one a lot, scratches a similar itch to games I used to play on newgrounds or yahoo where the loop is super simple but offers a lot of replayability.
Wow, every single potion comes with a different transformation? That's impressive. It was satisfying to unlock a new ingredient after every day and unlock a bunch of new combinations. I'd start each day trying them and then have too many potions to fit on the shelves :P
Excellent game and I am shocked you managed to get that many transformations in for every potion (and I liked the character art a lot too!). I really liked this. Great work!
The scope of this is amazing! I can't believe how many different combinations there were, and for each one to be so unique with not only a description but its own transformation was incredible. The loop was really satisfying once I got the hang of it (couldn't remember how to give potions to customers at first, then felt ridiculous because it was so simple and obvious), and I liked guessing what potions were going to be in demand and stocking up. That worked a lot better in the early game than later when there were more possibilities in play and I had to hustle a bit more...and it didn't help that I could not remember what combined to make what for the life of me lol.
I thought the pace of the progression with a new ingredient every day was perfect, and I was always excited to try mixing all the combinations right away. The ways to acquire more supplies were really clever and balanced, though I never did actually have to buy any. Even though parts were a bit slow I kind of enjoyed roleplaying downtime waiting at the counter for a customer, and it let me figure out you could get squish sounds from the boobs even when you weren't making a potion, which never stopped being fun. Honestly the SFX work in general was stellar and really immersive, and I especially loved the little satisfied/unsatisfied customer noises.
Final score before the main game end! No idea if it's good or not, but it's what I got!
This is an amazing range of animated combination effects to make in a single game jam! There's also a big variety of visually distinct potions, customers, and sex scenes! The controls are both functional and have a sense of presence in the world you're interacting with, which isn't easy to set up. The sound effects and music are all fitting, but perhaps the tracks can use more variety between different days. Balance-wise, I have just two minor suggestions, a lower starting setting on the vibrator would be good for getting players used to how it works, and more frequent customers or lower length during the first couple of days could help the game ramp up a bit faster. Overall, the gameplay is fun, and the amazing variety of interactions this game offers have definitely kept me engaged all the way through!
This is all great. I love the variety of combos, i love the customer designs [ram guy my beloved], i love the core conceit of the game! but i ADORE the little 'yayyy' when they leave :>
What a fun little game. The physics system felt fun and frantic, who needs a storage system when i can just throw my potions all over the place constantly. It had a lot of downtime though, so it was easier than expected, but thats probably better than being too hard.
Very Kinky!
I had fun! I like the voices of the characters. It's really funny when they leave the store with a "fuck!" and the sounds they make when satisfied are cute.
I like how you have to use your free time to discover recipes; that they are a result of experimentation. I like that you have to manage your limited "inventory" space and if you make extra potions you have to leave them lying around and can make a mess that obstructs your ability to click the books.
I do think the game is a bit too easy; there are moments in which you don't have much to do but wait. Maybe the penalty for letting one client go unattended could be higher; I find that I can let many of them go and advance anyway to the next day with no real issues, with enough money and reputation.
Anyway, really nice and fun game!
Mixing potions in a slime girl is a really brilliant idea! The amount of combinations is truly staggering, and it feels really good to interact with. Each new day was a fun rush of figuring out what all the new potion varieties and transformations did, which was really neat. I only found the potion storage late into the game but that was a brilliant addition; it really does make it feel like you’re able to stock up inventory like a real shopkeeper. Having this alerted to the player earlier would be really ideal, since its not immediately obvious.
I did find the days slightly too long, with customers not coming along quite enough to enforce any sort of pressure on the player - I also found in my run through that they overwhelmingly asked for potions from the first two days, which meant curiosity was the only reason to mix up some of the new potions.
Solid gameplay loop, and great transformation kink content!
absolutely incredible concept. "you mix potions in yourself with a vibrator and then milk them out through your breasts." just awesome.
i am happy to say i got through the whole game without spending a single cent on ingredients.
it was interesting to try to strategize about how to best manage all the potions to be efficient in terms of time and ingredients. what i ended up doing was always making one of each potion with the new ingredient so that the recipes would be in the book, and then mostly just making potions on-demand. i would keep a random set of whatever was lying around stocked in the shelf, which did often pay off. i did not utilize the drawer at the top at all as i did not know it was a thing until reading another comment.
there was a funny sequence where i was like, ok, i'm just going to stock a couple of potions. and then the next two customers both requested exactly the potion i had started randomly mixing.
it was cool that on the first day i could pretty easily keep track of all the recipes while the later days mostly required me to look at the book. it felt like a good combination of a memorization-based potion game and a non-memorization-based one.
it was very cool to see the various potion effects on mixie. i was too focused on the gameplay to pay attention to all of the details, but they were cool nonetheless. the shrinking one was very memorable.
it is neat how the "one unlock per day" pattern results in quadratically increasing difficulty (in terms of number of recipes). i think this curve felt pretty appropriate overall, the last day definitely felt a lot more frantic in terms of unlocking recipes than the earlier ones. that said, for me it never felt like there was that much time pressure, it was pretty laid back. i didn't fail the mixing that often which might have helped. (i did fail it a couple times for the last day recipes, though).
overall, very solid store management game!
I love potion games and this was a fun take on the genre! The vibrator to mix components and daily sex for extra ingredients were smart ideas and gave meaning to the gameplay. I was very very slow and often pressed for time, I would have liked the forms to linger after a transformation to better appreciate the results.
Great job!
Pretty reasonably long game with enough content. Did struggle to memorize any of the recipies and it took me till the 2nd or maybe 3rd day to figure out that i need to click the boobs instead of the potion to get the juice out. Like that theres some insect transform slimes in this including a purple bee which one that reminds me of my own fursona.
This was a fun game! You had a good amount of items, combos and just had enough polish to make this an enjoyable game. Just taking the time to write up description on each potion was a nice touch. I hope you make more games like this or consider making a sequel.
I like all of the different potions, you must be really kinky to incorporate that water breathing potion into something.
Nice game, the potion combinations and how they affect the slime girl is very cool.
I simply had to go for completion.
I need more... Good job.
The controls were fun to interact with, the feedback was on point.
Also I admire your dedication for the 28 effect description and transformation.
I even seeked out a secret by storing one of every single potion in the cabinet.
28/28 game
Good to see a transformation game. The gameplay is not my cup of tea, but I appreciate th effort you put into all the combinations and the artstyle. Good job :)
Simply put, one of my favorite games so far. I've been meaning to make a potions game of my own for a while (not NSFW, thought) and this one is just GOOD. I just would have loved to know that I could store potions directly in the tray on the top of the screen, but I think that was a "me" problem.
Really good one, here. Congrats!
