super cute, excellent presentation! very intuitive and easy to play . i liked it a lot. but you should definitely add some music and sound effects to take it to the next level :)
Such cute art! I am impressed you managed to make a platformer game actually feel cozy! (I find that this genre is usually either competitive, or intentional ragebait :D so it was a welcome change). I enjoyed the small details as well, like the way the light from the lanterns moves.
Minor things:
Since the first prompt I saw was "this is your home", I instantly pressed space, because I wanted to interact with it. Then, the level changed, and I thought I did something wrong, so I restarted the game. Only when I restarted did I see the text (further away) explaining the "if you want to sleep, enter your house" mechanic. Maybe you could bring it a little closer to the house? Or maybe I am the only one who did this :D
It would be nice to have an indicator somewhere that tells the player how many friends they managed to help, and how many more need help in the level.
As mentioned below by others, some music would add to the charm.

That’s really helpful feedback about the house prompt. I thought it would be more confusing if I didn’t explain which house was yours at the start, but now that you mention it, I could have put more thought into how the tutorial was presented.
I also had the idea of showing how many people you helped, but since it wasn’t necessary to finish the game, I planned to add it later and ended up running out of time.

Cute pixel art! The jumping is responsive and intuitive, and I liked how you can put the cat on top of your head! Helping others with things also fits the cozy theme super well. With that being said, I wish you included some soundtracks and/or sound effects. Also the stairs was sometimes confusing to use. Maybe using a one-way collider will help?
the jittering of every texture (especially the text) is quite straining on the eyes, but nice game, maybe the scope was a little too big
I feel like you tried making the game too big for the jam time. It ends up feeling a little empty, just walking around doing the same few tasks again and again. If you just worked on a few tasks, making them as good as possible, it might have been better. But the game really needs sounds and feedback to let you know how well you are doing. Its a good start, and there is potential, but it feels more like a prototype than a game.
Wow the art and the feel of this game is amazing. It’s so satisfying to jump around and find ways onto the roofs. And of course it feels good to help the other characters with simple things :)

Some sound effects would have been nice and some variations on the things to do could help to make the game a little less redundant. Also we think that adding an "end of day" indicator would be great

This is so cute and cozy! Agree that adding music/background ambiance sounds or like a cute mewing sound when you pick up the cat and purr when they're reunited type thing would be a nice touch but I like it :)
Cute game. Definitely fits the cozy game vibe. Seems a little long for what it is though. Consider something like the E key in the future for interacting so spacebar can be saved for jumping.

I really like the art in this one and the overall theme of helping others. Think the game would have been elevated a lot if you added some classical piano Christmas music in the background and some sound effects. Also the things the player "can" interact would be nice to highlight so they are aware that it can be acted upon. Well done on completing this project! It has a lot of levels plus night time and day. Very well done!

It's boring to play without sounds
