Thank you! This is helpful and i like the idea of adding the species sounds that get louder as you get closer, I'll look into how to add that in the future!

Thank you! It would make me so happy to make a full version that students could play and engage with

Thank you I appreciate the feedback! I have a whole list of ideas of other things I'd like to add so hopefully I can keep working on it.

This was super cute and fun! Love the art style and all the mini games ending in rocking out with everyone (even though I always suck at those lol). I'm glad I was able to help calm little ladybug, her nervous face was too precious and sad! I ended up staying there a while longer after accidentally hitting two keys that sounded like the pretty Inuyasha music and kept trying to recreate it so she got an extra long mini concert lmao

I really enjoyed this it was so cute and sweet! Also really liked the art style and aesthetics, it was very Lisa Frank and just overall really cute

This was so comforting to play with the music, soft colors and sweet stories. I would definitely play a longer version of it!

This is so cute! Love that it starts with the cut scene to set the stage and that you have so many customization options including the case and creature and so many different charms. Also the sound when you pick up charms is very satisfying for some reason lol. I won each round so I must be doing something right!

Aww thank you! I'm really happy to hear that the story seems to be having the effect I was going for. And thank you for the feedback! Next game I'm hoping to do more sound effects as well for background stuff as well as interactions to build on making the game feel more alive so I'm looking forward to that. its funny how much time I spent building it and learning how to do the coding and then the game itself takes like 2 minutes max to play through lol

Thank you! ^_^

Thank you so much! I appreciated your feedback in part 1 and I'm glad to hear that the thank you notes at the end seem to be resonating with people :) I really learned a lot from this round so I'm glad I got to participate!

Thank you I'm glad to hear that!

Thank you! And thank you for your feedback on the first version!

The added tutorial was really helpful as was adding the names of the toppings. Round 1 version was already a lot of fun but the new version is definitely more intuitive now and awesome that you were able to add voice acting too! I also like that it doesn't have a timer or set limit for how long you have to make each cupcake so it doesn't become stressful and you can just take your time making and decorating them.

Thank you! It's been really helpful getting feedback from everyone and those recommendations will hopefully all be included in the next version :)

Thank you I appreciate it! Yeah I fought with that text for ages but finally found some good tutorials so it should be much more readable for version 2.0!

Thank you! Updated key controls will definitely be included in round 2 :)

Hey! and yup lol I wanted to push myself to learn more for this jam and happy with how it's coming along so far. Thank you, I appreciate the feedback! Ooh that could be cool. My process is so chaotic right now as I'm learning I'm not sure how to team up yet lol but would be open to try out joining a future game jam as a team!

Thank you and thank you for trying it out on your stream! I'm glad it seems like it was easy enough to figure out and looking forward to completing the game and adding more components to it as well as making the text more readable.

Thank you! I appreciate the feedback :) Yeah I haven't been able to figure out how to enlarge the text in the intro yet or format it better but I'm hoping to fix it for part 2. I'm not sure why the billboard text sometimes fits in the box but sometimes spills out so I'll look into that as well. Ah, yes the N key for interacting is because I was just playing around with it initially when doing the coding and then got too far in and didn't have time to change it to something more reasonable lol. I'm also hoping to add some minor animation and to hopefully draw my own trees and other environmental stuff so it's easier to add appropriate collisions and depth for the next round! If I get real fancy, Purples might even change direction as she walks haha. thank you again for the feedback, it's one of the best perks of joining game jams to keep learning!

I love this it's so cute and soothing and I love the sound the stars make when you pick them up. Love the colors and character and as someone else that is also just learning I'm hella impressed by this being your first game. Echoing some of the feedback from others that I think it would be helpful for the viewport to be a little bigger so you can see further ahead before jumping to your doom lol, and maybe a counter or something to see how many stars you've collected would be kind of nice to have as well. I think the broader view would help with some of the difficulty. I also think one of the earlier clouds might have a glitch because I fell through it when I don't think I was supposed to but could also have just been me.

This was really cute and fun once I got the hang of it! It was a little confusing at first which was mostly on me because I apparently somehow missed the helpful instructions in the description. I wasn't sure what the toppings were at first so maybe having them included in the recipe guide would be helpful for reference as you play. Overall though once I figured out how to play it was fun :) As a side note, I used the same music in my game so that was a fun surprise to hear in yours too hehe

This is so cute! Love being able to add infinite cats and move around to pet them all hehe. I like that the mini game doesn't feel like grinding just to get money for decorating but is actually fun to play on its own as well. Love the cute aesthetics, would love to see: a few color customization options for furniture and changing the roof/wallpaper color for more customization, and being able to move/delete furniture after it's placed. Once the money part is more integrated I also think it would be nice to be able to see the cost of items before purchasing (unless that's there already and I missed it). Looking forward to part 2!

This is a really cute idea! I liked going through the different stages of preparing the party and the dress up part as mini games. I agree with other commenters that the music didn't quite feel like it matched the otherwise cute vibe of the game. It took me a minute to figure out what to do during the shopping part and I was fast clicking on everything like I was on supermarket sweep thinking I had to get a specific amount of things until I realized it was just getting what I wanted lol. I actually laughed when I got to the end and saw the like massive pile of instant noodles I got haha but it's cool seeing each part come together at the end. Final input is echoing that I would also like to have the car move just a little faster- not so much that it makes stopping at the lights impossible but a little faster would feel better I think.

Thank you! The background and environmental art (trees, water, houses, etc) and music were made by other artists (they're linked on the main game page so I recommend checking them out!). The characters, NPCs, items, bulletin board and UI stuff is mine :)

This is so cute and cozy! Agree that adding music/background ambiance sounds or like a cute mewing sound when you pick up the cat and purr when they're reunited type thing would be a nice touch but I like it :)

Thank you! yeah i want to learn how to add sounds and custom effects next!

Thank you! ^-^

Aw thank you! I hope to keep learning more coding and build it out more!

Congrats on your first game! This was my first attempt as well and it was awesome to learn a lot and to see other people in a similar space as me in game dev stuff. Woo we made games! ^-^
