Love the music, feels perfect for a road trip. Gameplay was intuitive, which is always welcome. The modifiers on each location were a nice subtle gameplay shift. The exercise did start feeling repetitive towards the end of the 5 minutes, but I assume variation is the kind of thing you could add if you wanted to expand this game out.
This is just well polished increadible game. And I have to admit that I loved those sound effects.

Thanks! I like to use the simplest placeholders right to the end and than draw all graphics in one big batch. And suddenly the game doesn't look too weird anymore.. who knew!

Yes, the way of collecting points came quite late in the development, due to not having a better idea for some end goal. But a sticker album for collecting different combinatiuons of location plus effect would have been a lot better.

Really fun game! Its perfectly timed to let you get the hang of driving but not get bored. All it needs is a leader board and I don't think I'd ever stop playing. Well done!
A leader board would have been nice, yes, but then it would have been nice to have more strategic depth in how the points are made to increase replay value. Thanks for playing!

Fantastic job, especially doing all of this on your own! It's a very creative premise. I had a lot of fun and got a kick out of the crash sfx (which I may or may not have heard a lot - it's a good thing you can't get your license revoked in this game XD). Love the music a lot too. Kudos!
Thank you! The music and sound effects are always the last thing I make for these jams, so they are always in a hurry, but the wonkiness always seem to add a bit of charme to the game :D
Awesome game! So much delicious feedback and polish. The character controller was snappy and fun to use, and the road-splitting was a brilliant way of introducing some rogue-like decision-making to shake things up. The sprites were all really well made and the music fits perfectly too.

My road trip was 19620% awesome. Literally no clue what was happening during the trip. The 5 minute playtime without any significant changes was a bit long, I think a shorter 3 minute trip wouldn't have lost anything but that's not super important. The art was AMAZING, it's super clean and well done. In addition, the audio is really polished, so good job there. Overall great job!
