This was a cool idea and good use of the theme  -floating back and sliding was fun -great work! :D

Great choice of a "splat" sound. I got a little burst of joy each time it happened. Cool concept!

Flying around feels pretty fun. I think these levels should be enclosed someohow. At first I ended up just flying into space and not really knowing where I was lol.

Grats on submitting!

We did have a boundary at some point but removed it for our submission 👀

slime splatoon lol I had a blast playing! i felt like the speed of the character was a little over tuned but i eventually got used to it on the tire level. but other than that great game :)

Developer(+1)

We did really push the sense of speed, maybe a bit too much 😂

Originality wise it's great, as other have said I didn't play anything like this in the jam.

Unfortunately for me the percentage didnt update during gameplay.

Developer (1 edit)

Yeah, the web version doesn't do that. I think it might've to do with how we set up async code to update the score

(We did mention in the description!)

dude this game was fun! I loved going through the tire level rings. I'm really curious how you were able to achieve the slime painting effect without decals... great work.

It's Splatoon inspired but using your own collision rather than a projectile, look it up there's a couple tutorials!

This definitely makes good use of the theme. I had to get used to the controls, but once I did, it felt pretty good. Nice work!

It's very satisfying to be a Psychoslime. Great job on this one!

Honestly the most unique gameplay and idea I have played in the game jam so far. Well Done!

This game made me feel slick!

But yeah, it has some good feels painting the objects.

Very cool idea for a game! I did have a bug where I automatticaly rotated towards the right a little bit, but that might just be on my device only. I also really liked the variety in levels.

Interesting concept! The music is solid, the controls feel good, and I like that you offer a variety of levels to try. I did get lost out in outer space after trying to see how fast I could get moving if I just held the button down, but I guess I got what I deserved for that. Overall, this is a nice complete fun experience. I would maybe consider expanding the mechanic a bit more? Potentially different surfaces require different colors or something like that?

One of my favorite levels here has to be the tire level. The circular shape of the course works surprisingly well with the controls, and it sometimes felt like I was drifting. The low-gravity environment made things a bit tricky for the other courses, but for the tire, it works really well in its favor.

I really loved the feeling of speed it has and the painting mechanic is very cool. Good work!
